Why do people ######### on me for playing trickster?
Like for real I didn't design him and he has counter play. People running in a straight line and expecting to get away. I don't get survivors anymore

People will [bad word] on you no matter how you play. Ignore their complaints. They didn't pay for your copy of the game. They have no right to tell you where your money takes you.

I personally can't stand Trickster just because I find him annoying lol. Most people who play him just camp and tunnel right off the hook.
That being said, anyone who talks down to you for playing him needs to get outside more. He's a Killer in the roster and they just have to deal with it. Not everyone likes the same things. Just have fun.

Yeah, I don't know. I don't play Trickster, but he's the only one I have any cakes left on (like, 27) so if I ever need some bloodpoints I begrudgingly play him.
This ######### happens every, single, time. I get it, he isn't fun- Please don't DC on the first down because you tried to loop a Trickster on something he could throw over.

exactly! People don't complain about huntress and she plays the exact same way. If you loop a huntress on something she can throw over you're dead.

He has little counter play actually especially if you use add on that makes it so that you move faster while throwing blades.

Trickster is SS on the survivor tier list. They see the game more as which killers smack them hardest in a 1v1 as opposed to how good a killer actually is.

Use high wall loops and obstacles to your advantage. There's your counterplay to the "OP" Trickster.

Depends on the RNG and even then still pretty easy to get cheap knife throws in while you're at it. Obstacles? What obstacles? No such thing as obstacles if you're a good trickster. You have 40+ knives lmao and walking speed add on is too good to catch up.

Most maps will have obstacles and high wall loops to take advantage of. Dead Dawg and Rotten Fields as well as a few other maps are probably the only exceptions in this case (DDS still has high wall loops, just not as much as the others).

Those aren't really a counter as I said if you're a good Trickster you can get cheap hits in until it piles up(Animations or hits in around the corner). Like every range killer in the game they're good chase ender if you're good at aiming. Also you seem to think that I'm saying trickster is OP. No. I'm saying he's lethal in one on ones and there's little counter play to it but he's also have terrible movement speed and no map pressure so it evens out.

Already explained this, Jesus Christ. Huntress has issues with her movement speed but Trickster doesn't with add on which allows him to get cheap hits in that huntress can't and this stacks up. Also I don't remember Huntress spewing out 40 goddamn hatchets.

The majority of maps have loops that have short walls and they spawn quite often as well.

Most people don't like it when you take a weak killer and absolutely obliterate them. All of the toxicity I get for playing Trickster comes from lobbies that I 3k-4k in. Granted I don't get too much toxicity but it does happen. I've had TTVs DC against me and say I was hitting them over things I shouldn't be able to when — little do they know even if I hit the very tippy top of their head it's enough of the hitbox to count. And I get regular survivor DCs pretty often, maybe once every 4 matches? But people hardly go against him anymore so a good portion of survivors don't know 100% of how he works.
He's also a very black and white killer. If you're caught in the open or at a low/small loop you're done for and there's not much you can do other than try and dodge and hope the Trickster doesn't know how to aim well and get to a safer area. But yes, it's very possible to counter him if you know which kind of loops are his worst.

I don't know about anyone else. But trickster games are either super sleeper or so so so annoying.
But playing trickster is so so so fun.
So it's like deathslinger honestly. Fun to play. Super unfun to play against.
