How would you rework Ace's perks?
I enjoy the idea of luck-based perks, but the ones he have are anything but fun, practical, or impactful.
So. Let's take a gander then, shall we?
How would you rework Ace's perks, while still keeping in mind that he is a gambling man. So maybe keep his perks luck-based, while putting a specific focus on 'fun' factors.
Or if you wanna make it practical, that's cool too.

Open handed and ace in the hole are both good perks.
If we want to buff or rework up de ante, luck has to change first. It only affects now chance of unhooking yourself. It should be more impactful

Ace in the hole: You seem to always find what you need. You find certain items in chests based on current match events
3 or more survivors injured: First aid kit or ranger medkit
4 or more gens: Commodius or engineer’s toolbox
Your the last survivor: dull or skeleton key
Up the ante: As long as all of your team is alive your luck is increased by 25%

Agreed, I think Open Handed and Ace in the Hole are fine as they are.

I think I'd rework the Luck mechanic before looking at his Perks.

Ace in the Hole and Open Handed are in decent spots. Perks like AITH, Punderer’s, Appraisal, etc. aren’t meant to be super strong but are meant to be fun to use.
Up The Ante definitely needs an overhaul though as luck is super outdated.

Ace in the hole, increased secondary addon chance to 50/75/100% chance, at the end of the match you gain a copy of all looted addons to your survivor inventory (doesn't work if you dc or ######### on hook early in the match)
Open handed, (additional effect) having this perk equipped in lobby shows it to all other survivors with an icon over your head, you cannot switch off this perk or switch to another survivor when the timer is below 30 seconds (to prevent trolling)
Up the ante, 3 times per game you can gamble an item while near an empty chest, the gambled item has a chance to increase or decrease in rarity (50%/50%, 66%/33%, 80%/20%, affected by luck each % of luck increases odds of success and decreases odds of failure maxing out at 12% luck) addons on gambled items stay the same, charges are not replenished while gambling an item, once per game you can sacrifice an empty item and send it to your survivor inventory

Boon: Up The Ante
while cleansing a totem press the active button to create a boon totem
all survivors within 12/16/20 meters of the boon totem will not have there auras revealed by any means when the killer smothers (cleanses) the boon totem your aura is revealed for 8 seconds.
