Any other survivor want to be evil during the launch of Boon Totems?
I got an absolutely diabolical plan and I was wondering if others would want to join in on the fun. 😈
We all know Boon Totems are coming up and most people will be running this perk in their builds. So I was wondering what would be the best way to play with teammates who use this build?
Then I had a thought!
Introducing the Nancy/Jill Totem Eater Squad!
Here's what you can do for the first week of boon totems being out:
- Play as Nancy/Jill (or even more dastardly, the new Survivor)
- Bring totem hunting perks (Detective's Hunch would be good but you'd want to get to these totems before anyone else, I heavily suggest getting Small Game and Counterforce alongside Inner Strength and Bond. Bond is to help you race survivors looking for totems as well.)
- Destroy absolutely every totem in the map. Not only to get rid of NOED or other hexes but also to leave the Boon Totem user with no totems to work with.
- In the end game chat, once you've finished stealing every totem in the map. Tell them you had a challenge to do.
- Repeat.
Remember to have fun.
Your fun. ;)

I recommend using sprint burst over detectives hunch, perfect build being inner, bond, sprint burst, and either counter force or small game

Basically this

Their boon totem could change to NOED if they leave before me or die on hook while I'm trying to save them during end game. I need to cleanse all the totems to protect myself. 😂

Nancy mains when the PTB drops

Jokes on them, it's time to bust out thrill, haunted grounds, ruin, devour hope and mint rag on Hag.
(Just kidding, Hag's gonna lose the Mint Rag for some other "can't teleport to traps" garbage at this rate)

This thread is just another example of how childish / ######### annoying the majority of the DBD community is.

I'm not evil but BP is a BP, and since I'm not going to run boon perks, I will destroy totems cause BP and badge are worth doing it.

I am not sure most people will use them but maybe I am projecting because I don't plan to.
We will see I guess, and they are probably going to get nerfed before they hit live.
I won't change my build at all since it fits me well so far. I know this may be a joke thread but why sabotage your team on purpose just because they use certain perks?

If I see someone break my boon totems deliberately, they’re dead to me. Don’t expect help if you get downed or hooked

I run Inner Strength on my Claudette, so naturally, I’m looking forward to devouring bones. I wonder if I can devour them when they’re sparkling blue?

Oh wow, someone wants to meme and have fun, put them under arrest, Mr. Cowboy.

you cant cleanse boon totem

only if they leave before all gens are done somehow.

Ask killer to deblue it.

I'm betting that NOED is gonna start becoming more common due to the survivors wanting totems to stay up, end game builds are going to spike in popularity.

Two kinds of people.

There’s a fine line between having fun and deliberately trying to be a dick towards your teammates. You obviously don’t know the difference. Me and my friends constantly meme, but not at the expense of our team. 🙃

At time I was going by this but then it later was clarified it would need to be dull before the gens finished.

are you kidding me?! I am ganna stop playing for a long time like a lot of players until they nerf boon totems hopefully they reconsider the idea of making the game too survivor sided by adding one more thing killers have to do during a game

the perks aren't fun they are unfair boons need a bit of a change

oh and there is a specific build that counters all the overpowered stuff. franklins sloppy butcher mindbreaker and undying. undying counters boons. franklins counters gen rushing with built to last. sloppy butcher counters the healing speed and the shadow step invisibility. and last of all mindbreaker counters sprintburst/vigil

Sounds like a waste of time, so you denied a player the use of boon totems for one game. Maybe, because if they change it to boon you can't cleanse it. Also, you're probably killing your team because you're running around looking for 5 totems at the beginning of the game or maybe just wasting your time because no one has a boon totem perk. *slow clap*

But it's fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuun :D

If it was fun cleansing totems NOED would never proc, but okay have your FuN trying to p*ss someone off.
3 -
Wow you are so edgy
4 -
Time to brush off the old No No NOED army uniform.
2 -
Honestly, this is why I hate people.
3 -
Ah yes, I too remember when I was a 13 year old attention seeker. Good times.

I am a toxic survivor as in I teabag flashlight flicker 360 and moonwalk the killer I run meme perks and do bugs. but abusing a group of perks that are so overpowered that people want to stop playing isn't something I would dare do. encouraging the use of those perks is a bad thing to do because people who have no skill will bring those perks and win a bunch of games they shouldn't have won. players need to learn to have skill and not have to rely on perks like circle of healing/noed to get them free wins. it's fine to run those perks to get a little help at the begining of your journey into the fog. but using them as clutch perks that garentee a win that should have been given to the other side isn't ok. that's my problem with all the new buffed perks they encourage unfair uncounterable stratagy.
Noed was a clutch perk but you could still win against it by cleansing it once or getting rid of the totem's or just avoiding the killer.
Circle of healing can be rebuilt multiple times, most of the time can't be countered with the current meta, and encourages selfcare gameplay.
big difference.
