I really didn't expect that so many people would voice their disapproval of slinger nerfs if they ever happened.

I'm glad to see that even quite a few people who don't particularly like him, see these changes might be a bit too harsh and are open minded about them.

So thank you all for voicing your concerns and hopefully preventing what happened to billy from happening to slinger as well.

Some changes are required, we all know that. But they have to be done the right way.

    couldn’t have said it better myself. I don’t like going against slinger myself but I also agree these changes are overkill.

    I've heard that the devs really don't make any changes from what's introduced in the PTB unless there's a bug involved. I'm skeptical that the inundation of feedback results in a rollback on these changes.

    He's getting these changes for similar reasons why Pyramidhead got his,but unlike Slinger,Pyramidhead got proper compensation,and it should be the same case here.

    It also warms my heart how so many people on this forum are saying the developer update was amazing.

    Who cares if Deathslinger is getting gutted or are introducing a half-baked mechanic that will put even more pressure on killers (timewasting) that they didn’t need? We finally got the Hatch update (long time coming) and some killer add-on reworks (some will be good, but there will also be some nerfs) so that automatically makes it a good update.

    A good change does counterbalance a bad one, and there’s lots of bad things that will stem from this patch (mainly the boon totems).

    They've made balance changes from Ptb to live before. I suspect just by the sheer number of balance changes in this patch there will definitely be more than a few.
