The New Update is Decent, But...

After looking over the descriptions for what is to come in the mid-chapter update I find that the overall changes are very interesting, but could have been much better in regards to what was emphasized overall. And while it touched base on certain killers (Spirit) or killer mechanics (Deathslinger's ADS) in my opinion I feel that if you are going to nerf one aspect of any killer power or perk in this game then it needs to be compensated in another area that is significant, otherwise it makes the killer weaker overall when they are supposedly the power role in the game. For example, for the Spirit you could have the directional audio and the visual cues but to then not buff or change anything other than some of the addons and not the base kit is absurd. The entire power could have been reworked in some form to allow some sight or slight aura sensing when phasing to make her a bit more unique but maybe that will be something the future.

In the other case Deathslinger was a killer with good 1v1 but no mobility. You took away some power from the 1v1 and then didn't do anything to address the map pressure that all ranged killers face.

Honestly, I do like the overall changes to Trapper, Plague and the hatch along with the addon pass but honestly it feels like the "buffs" were things that either should have come at the start or things that should have been added long ago (seriously, key change wasn't a change for keys but hatch that could have been done ages ago). It is a somewhat positive trend but instead of a A+ this update as currently stands in my opinion is a B-.
