When killers have enough of being stressed out and switch to the fun side

You'll go back after you get faced camped or your teammates kill themselves on the hook don't worry. You will miss the consistent blood points even for bad matches and will run back too. I don't enjoy killer for different reasons but I do it for BP.

Its funny that everyone complained about killer not being fun to play? And what do they do,they implement a new mechanic that make killer even less fun to play, lol.
6 -
I'll keep playing killer. It's still more fun than solo survivor.
11 -
I'm going to keep playing Killer... but I will play Survivor
0 -
Survivor isn't fun it just makes me want to work with the killer
0 -
This. Neither side is fun right now, and it's entirely because of the changes to matchmaking.
Constant facecamps and DC's to go with it, too.
7 -
Survivor is fun but also gets boring a lot lately.
Maybe I just start learning some new killer I never played and play just for BP
3 -
Oh yeah because solo Q survivor is like being in heaven. There are no team mates who are that bad that it feels like they screw you over on purpose. Idk, like dropping pallet first when killer is closer to you, selfcare in corner against legion or sloppy killers every time injured, being super emersive and not having the balls to commit on a gen which nearly done, suicide on first hook, camping and dropping shack pallet against legion in frenzy mode in the first minute of the game and so on.
Oh wait, that's actually reality. Yeh good luck having fun playing survivor. Without swf you ain't finding it.

At least my brain isn't in overdrive. I could just chill and relax to music while messing about. Sure the team is dumb but eh the mindset is different when you don't have to think about every single thing going in the match.

This. Killer have overall 16 objectives to juggle their attention around:
4 survivor
(their location health/hook states, perk/item loadout),
7 gens
(progress on them, are they regressing, location relative to other gens plus remaining pallet availability in the near vicinity) and the
5 totems,
which until now where only dependent on the loadout of the killer but boon totems might make those also mandatory everytime.

That's exactly how I feel, I haven't had any trouble with these boon totems when I play as my two main killers however I can understand people's frustration if they're like a clown or trapper main for example because you're already a m1 killer with a weak power and zero map pressure , but other than that I've had a blast playing killer I feel like survivors waste too much time doing these boon totems and end up costing themselves the game that way

I have been playing DBD since a little after the Resident Evil Chapter was introduced. I have never played a Survivor. Honestly? I don't think the introduction of boon totems will change this for me. I am genuinely curious to see what it will be like playing as a killer with these added features.
I figure if Survivors keep stopping to bless or find totems than that also means less time on gens.

Camping, slugging, tunneling, useless team-mates..... Very fun yeah
4 -
That's still better than feeling like my brain is melting or my heart beat faster just to get 2 kill by juggling 4 mind and monitoring them, and no i'am not making it up, i feel exhausted after the match ends playing killer. That's why i'am a survivor main now and quit killer. Even if i got tunneled and camped but my other 3 teammate escaped, i consider that as a win
2 -
The thing is after all that u perhaps gets ur kills and feel satisfied slightly getting camp u can't do anything about that u can't play you depip and lose rank and die
1 -
Yes
The fun side
(Laurie had 30 seconds left of that gen to do, btw :))
5 -
What is happening in this video!? I mean that David was throwing right?
2 -
They all were. Originally, I felt bad for Claudette for having 2 clowns following her exactly while being chased by the killer instead of splitting up. But then she went and brought the killer back to the downed survivor instead of away and that sympathy disappeared.
3 -
This part right here but I have so many moods about this. If I am with friends and just feel like being dumb, survivor it is. If I feel like sweating, sure i'll play killer or just play an actual competitive game, but if I feel like memeing in a game I don't have to worry about sandbagging, i'll play Ghostface and teabag around the map or stealth with Pig.
But i'd be lying if I said killer wasn't too stressful compared to survivor where if they are just doing the simple M1 simulator, I can turn my brain off and just throw down pallets and escape. For some reason that just works too well
1 -
This guy has not played survivor in the last few months
2 -
Why does the game look really purple?
0 -
Hardcore throwing yes. As was Jane. And Laurie just didn't do gens.

✨Colourblind filters✨

Ohhh... I see.

It's called retribution for them doing absolutely nothing all game and leaving me to end up doing 4 gens then get tunneled, get lost briefly and manage to do about 50 seconds on that Shack gen before he returned for part 3.
I felt no sympathy for bringing him back to them, plus that pallet was the only one I knew where it was. They weren't dead on hook, I was.

It's not like I've ever been secretive about my eyesight being messed up, to be fair. I haven't gotten an official diagnosis from an optician but it helps me see better so I don't say I'm Colourblind, they just help me see better so I use them.
I can however say I'm officially short sighted as #########

I'm just straight up quitting killer outside of Blight and Spirit, I've already been struggling as killer and just when I wanted to work on my Legion and see what I can improve upon, they introduce Circle of Healing, yea, quitting killer basically
0 -
I mean survivor is pretty god damn boring
yay I only get 14k points
1 -
yeah
0 -
I was. Actually got red ranks first as a survivor when MMR popped out.
Even have this name
Though admittedly I was face palming at teammates most of the time but that's just me being sweaty trying to get red rank as fast as possible as a experiment for the new mmr and that process took about days of grinding that killed me inside slowly since either you die to teammates or get safety pip because match ends way too early so it was a waste of time.
Wouldn't be attempting another grind to red ranks again though. Realized that the time and effort(Frustration) climbing red ranks isn't worth it for 500k BP lol. Would be playing all kinds of survivor builds since there's a lot of variety builds I could play around with and just chill with music on next time.

I will play a survival, run inner strength like I've been doing before and destroy the boon while you are self-healing. All his heals belong to me! All the totems are MINE!
And the public comments on my steam wall are now disabled! I will reject all your "friend" requests after the game. Ha-ha-ha!
0 -
Not overdrive, I admit. But you lose braincells watching your team. Especially with bond.. As helpful as that perk is, bond just frustrates you even more because you watch your teammates being absolute idiots.

Which filter are you using, out of curiosity? The pink auras look nice.
0 -
deuteranopia, except through NVIDIA's game filter
0 -
I actually have the inverse I get so stressed out playing survivor :(
Killer I have more fun because my mindset is different in that I feel free, like I can stomp around the map all I want haha
0 -
I feel that if killers actually quit the role, maybe they would finally stop screwing it. But let's admit it, we aren't going anywhere. We know this to be true.

With this new MMR system, after i tried to play killer since the update, today iv changed my review for the game to negative. and considering leaving the game. Im that frustrated how messed up this system is.
funny meme tho.

That's the thing if you feel anxious with the killer around, survivor becomes stressful because of this fear born anxiousness. But only if you are afraid to get caught. Most survivor don't have that.
But killer has the form of anxiousness of racing against the clock because the length of the trial is not set by the killer but by the efficiency of the survivor and the killer can only try to slow them down.

All good points. And I have considered jumping into a Survivor game on occasions. But, and this may sound strange, I sort of like having a limited, outsider, or even "alien" view of the Survivors as it helps keep with the lore to me. I try to play each Killer how they are written personality wise to keep things entertaining. Not fully understanding the Survivors add to their mystery as targets.
But when it comes to caring about the fun of other players, as long as they aren't meanspirited trolls, I honestly play leisurely. I rarely go for 4ks or worry about "winning".

I switch back and forth.
Sometimes after a series of bad survivor games killer actually feels good because I am never on a losing streak at least and there are no teammates to kill me.
Both can be unfun. One thing I noticed is that I enjoy the game best after very long breaks (months). The more I play the more frustrating it gets no matter which role I play.
1 -
Yeah but it’s way more chill playing survivor, just m1 simulator
0 -
What will BHVR do when there are no Killers or Solo Survivors to bully.
0 -
If you’re that stressed I suggest switching to MLB the Show. That game is great, and isn’t at all one long, grinding frustration, honest.
0 -
3 plus years of playing DBD mainly as a killer and still having fun
0 -
its frustration. You have to put up with so much more bullshit in Solo Q. Unlike Killer, where you aint depended on your teammates because you dont have any.
0 -
That is a fair point, however I personally just don’t care as much in survivor games
0 -
Killer would be chill.aswell if you wouldn't care as much. Applies to every game
