Where do i go to offically report someone?

Got called a #########, N-word and all sorts of things by another survivor in the post game chat because i managed to be stealthy and avoid getting caught near the end of the game. Where do i go to offically report this abuse. I have screenshots of it and their steam profile ID. @Peanits If i sent you this information in a private message do you have the authority to take care of this or forward it to the proper person?

ACMs do not deal with reports through private messages.

In this particular case, you do not need to send a support ticket, you can just report them in-game. This saves that chat log so we have all the information we need to deal with it.

If you ever need to report something that requires video evidence (i.e. someone is holding your game hostage, someone is cheating, or a killer and survivor are working togehter, etc.) you can send a support ticket to https://support.deadbydaylight.com/hc/en-us under Additional Player Report Information. Please report them in-game as well, this is crucial. It'll log the match for us to review. This is only for reports that require additional information though, please do not send a ticket if you don't have additional evidence to add.

I play killer all the time m8 and i wish i was playing killer now but the queues are so bad. I rarely get toxic behavior like this and honestly it does not bother me but i am reporting these people out of principal because the worst thing we can do is develop an apathetic attitude towards behavior like this. It is unacceptable and should be punished when it arises. Our community is already toxic enough and we have an obligation to report this behavior so that people are deterred from doing it in the future.

Thank you peanits. I appreciate the information. I sent a support ticket with screenshots aswell before i got your message. Next time i have to report someone il keep in mind to just use the in game report function if it is to do with post game harassment.

I would ask you the same question, hold old are you if you honestly think that sort of behaviour is ok and should just be ignored?

Just because some of us have been around the block and grew thick skin over the many years of the internet does not mean someone should be allowed to say racist slurs, these people need taught a lesson to be civil and stop being such toxic #########.

He's right, Bug_Reporter, you don't want to invest more time in clearing trash then it's your business but don't go around soft-mocking people who do.
