Kicking gens

A little introduction : I like to use fun builds and perks that are rarely picked. But I noticed some very special problems with gen kicking when it comes to perks like : trail of torment, Eruption, oppression etc.


Imagine you know a team of survs is working on a gen over there and there is a gen next to you you could kick to give them skillchecks but guess what? It is at 0% or regressing already.

Imagine you want to use trail of torment and sneak up on survs. You already blinded all survs with 3rd seal and you could get a stealth attack but all gens except the one theyre currently working on are at 0% or already regressing.


When using these perks I find myself very often in situations where I would like to use the effects of these perks but cant because the game doesnt allow me to kick specific gens. So I would ask for following changes:


Reduce the cooldown of trail of torment and oppression to 30 secs. Ontop of that if either Eruption, trail of torment or oppression are not on cooldown (overcharge always) they allow you to kick gens that are currently regressing or at 0% (this wont give you any additional effect. This kick is only there to apply that perk to this gen)

With this you could prepare gens youre passing by at start of the game and you always have a chance to activate these perks (side note, trail of torment would not deactivate if a gen is at/reaches 0%)


Last note: Pop gets another line saying that if you kick a 0% gen or a regressing gen while this perk is ready to use it wont be applied to that gen but you will also not loose it.
