2021 and
we still have the memorial institute map that is totally unplayable with some killers, making their power useless.
Why is the map still here while Blight power is impossible to use there ?
Why is the map still here while Pinhead power is almost totally useless there ?
Why is the map still here while Oni's power is also almost totally useless there ?

because it's supposed to be a maze survivors also suffer from the unsafe pallets and nonexistant gens
it's ment to be a bad map for everybody making it dbd on hard mode
for some reason it's one of my favorite maps cuz i main doctor

remember stealth killers like myers are unstopable on that map

What do you expect the devs to do now? Just delete everything you don’t like? Omg.
7 -
ye, that's the point, this map has nothing to do in the game for many reasons.

Delete everything that has no sense lol. A map where some killers cant use their power ?
Why not a map where survivors can't escape ? Or a map without gen ?

Sadly they'll never take into account for powers like that when making indoor maps

It's sad that the map they're removing is Hawkins and not Lery's. Really who likes this map from either side? Only situation that someone might like it is if you are Ghostface or sneaky Myers.

Current lerys is ok
Old lerys was bullshit when there was window spawn rng to the max lol

The map also has an insane amount of windows can spawn (and usually most of them do).

my friend that already exists it's called the rpd. gens blend in with the map better then old p3 claudette did with the swamp
Exit's are so unsafe to open because one way to it and one way back to the Statue room at least in the front
The map is painful to navigate and pallets are in the weirdest places
Totems don't exist (even with counter forced and small game i could only locate 3 after 20 minutes of looking
windows are unsafe as heck
long hallways prevent you from seeing the killer when you hear the terror radius and 99% of the time you run right into them
Hooks are kinda close together with a worse basement because you don't have to pass the lockers at the bottom because they are where bubba camps meaning no head on basement saves
speaking of lockers where are they besides the basement and hallways
no shortcuts anywhere you just have to go in a stright line until you see a pallet that you can walk around in 2 seconds
lery's isn't what killers and survivors should be worrying about
oh and to answer your question about killers not able to use there power on lerys lets think about who can't use there power on rpd because of all the walls and random open space
trapper (indoor map)
wraith (stealth whats that)
hillbilly (walls)
nurse (walls)
myers (no stealth on that map)
hag (easy to see traps)
doctor (big map)
Huntress (indoor map)
bubba (walls and objects everywhere waiting to get run into
freddy (good luck finding people)
Clown (walls and indoor map)
legion (good luck catching people with feral with the amount of walls)
Plague (indoor map)
ghostface (Can't stalk people without getting seen down the narrow hallways)
Oni (blood is hard to reach and long hallways make demon dash inpossible unless your a god
Blight (to many object's like lerys in your way
Twins (victor will lunge and hit uhhhhh idk the wall somehow)
Trickster (indoor map)
pinhead (indoor map)
who is ok on this map
pig (farther away boxes and hard to reach)
spirit (can mindgame the pallets)
demogorgon (can lunge down narrow hallways and almost never misses)
deathslinger (shoot down narrow hallways and is hard to dodge)
executioner (same as the other 2 hard to dodge attack in narrow hallways)
nemesis (No real upside just isn't bad on it)
Oh and Hawkins is another story for another time

You can use blight's power on lerys. It's not easy, but I had to learn somehow because the game is obsessed with sending me to lerys when I play blight. Three times in a row once without offerings :) another time I played 10 games as him and 4/10 were lerys, one with an offering.
Slam duration addons are good for indoor maps but sadly you have no way of knowing if you're getting one. And some indoor maps he's great on (meat plant mostly with midwich in 2nd place)

Btw if that comment sounds dismissive I don't mean it to be, they should take -every- killer's power into account when making new maps. And much as I like some indoor maps, I think we have enough.

what's the last time we got an outdoor map oh yeah 1 AND A HALF YEAR AGO with dead dog
0 -
Yes because Blight doesn’t have enough maps where he’s good on…

Yes.

Blight is one of the few killers I like on that map, actually. Kind of the only one.

What the hell? Oni plays perfectly fine in Lery's. His demon dash doesn't operate like any mobility skill within the killer. I'm doing just fine gliding through the entire map like it's a skate park.

If the devs had their way, they wouldn't remove any map. They aren't removing Hawkins because they want to.

Meanwhile, shelter woods is a thing where these killers are pretty much handed 4k. Some maps are good some maps are bad.

I bet with that "logic" we can remove every Map in the game.
2 -
I'm confident we can, since "making sense" is relative. Quantum mechanics doesn't make sense to most people, but it's not because it's fake or whatever, it's because it's complicated.

I mean, RPD exists and that map is 10 times worse.
1 -
Not really but on this forum you like to argue about anything, even the most logic statement.
Map that doesn't allow some killers to use their power properly = non sense
It's exactly like maps where all the the middle area is a huge dead zone = non sense for the survivors
These are bad designed maps that should be removed, reworked and added again.
