Ah rebellious youth some of my best moments were sneaking my gameboy with a copy of Pokรฉmon red and a flashlight at night and every time the house settled or I thought I heard something I would burst into cold sweat and remain motionless I miss those nights

It may feel like that and yeah grades are the worse the grade system is never in your favor just remember to not let it get to you the hardest years of your life are the transition from high school to work and the years where grades dictate your life at least in my experience I still probably have rough times ahead of me like a midlife crisis yippee

Overconfidence was my downfall I went out with friends late at night and upon entering my father flicked on the lamp and he was sitting in his chair arms crossed and I noticed he was holding the note my friend gave me and I just remember thinking ######### lifeโs over he was MAD always remember to be extra careful because I still remember that night

I was at a friend's birthday party, my parents knew, they just didn't know when I was going to get home.
Basically my home has 4 doors I have to get through to get to my apartment. The first one makes a ton of noise if you close it fast, the second is even worse, the third makes the hole building shake slightly if you close it even slowly (I'm sensitive to noise and vibration so I notice those things), and the last door is not as dangerous. I managed to get through all doors without any problem, it was 1 AM, I get a text "Are you coming home anytime soon?", I reply "I'm in my bedroom already", ten seconds later my dad opens the door to my bedroom to check if I was there. Basically my mom woke up seconds after I came home, probably due to the slight vibrations, she's was worried something happened to me, since they didn't know I was home yet, and asked my dad to text me.
