I'm still not seeing how that ties into the voice lines being removed, though.

Current going theory is that the license holders gave bhvr the finger and said that only people who own the nft will be able to use the licence alongside other benefits, all of which will be different from nft to nft to make them unique. This could include skins, voice lines, or whatever.
Edit: not to mention the nft company are basically doing loot boxes with which benefit you get.

Only thing that's weird about this whole voiceline debacle is
Chatterer is allowed to make sounds when he teleports, they are unique sound clips only he has
it's perplexing, I wish we could know what's going on with this whole voiceline thing

Chatterer also isn't voiced by Doug though, nor is he the face of the franchise.

Well it's probably a 3 way contract that includes Boss and Doug. Then if Behavior says "We don't want NFTs in our game" that was probably a breach of contract. Then it's a matter of how involved Doug was in that contract

Nuclear initiations don't do anything to the environment. We have initiated over 2,000 nuclear weapons in the last 70 years. It is had basically no impact what so ever.

Pollution caused because of how the electricity is produced not directly you could claim it for literally anything, turning on a light bulb polluting, using your phone polluting, using your pc polluting, even the carbon miles to get you a piece of food from the store also pollutes
Honestly if you look at it from the grand scheme, its not that bad I don't really get it

I still think nfts are dumb but for some reason all of the problems of all cryptocurrency are rolled into one point here and being all placed on nfts, which is a scape goat argument, I get that nfts are closely related to crypto but this doesn't add up, and even if it did its not really that big when its just a drop in the bucket compared to everything else its not a real problem, our phones probably do even more polluting and are less justified since they actively make some people worse

Voiceline issue could be any number of things.
Clive Barker is getting the rights back, so maybe he asked them to remove them.

not gonna argue about environmental conservation on a video game message board, sure I could have made the phone point better by doing it with something else but I still think its blown out of proportion

yea I took environmental classes near literally everything is damaging though so I know to take it with a grain of salt but none of us are qualified on any way to learn in on this matter tbh

I see the point but I simply do not care since I don't have the power, drive, dedication, time, money, resources, or interest in doing literally anything about it even if I was an expert who was able to weight in on it , sitting on a message board complaining about it isn't likely to do anything since if a company wants to do something to make money they are likely to do so no matter what input we give them

Okay externalities badly explained in about 4 seconds.
Aight so yes everything has an external cost to thing. These are known as negative externalities. As these costs are not included in the price they can cause the invisible hand of the free market to mess up, the signals sent by the market to be wrong, and thus cause over production and overconsumption of a good. The government however intervene in markets to help combat externalities in theory, by offsetting the cost through different methods, such as taxes on the more draining goods, or subsidies for competitors which have positive externalities (and so are underconsuned or underproduced). Obviously not the full list.
In theory the tax revenue gained can be reinvested into subsidising better manufacturing processes, conservation efforts, etc.
Also we have tariffs which are the tax on imports and these can be higher to help offset the transport cost.
Obviously I say in theory in reality when does this happen?
NFTs are wasting needless energy, more than a small country produces, when you don't even get the ######### piece of media and your ownership certificate can be wiped at any time.
We need food. Trade allows us to get this food at a much cheaper rate, with more diversity. We "need" phones in our current society. They are at this point essential for finding and holding down a job.
It wouldn't be as much of an issue if most of this energy wasn't coal power but the fact that so little of it is renewable (again the 72% figure I think it was- I woke up 5 minutes ago- is disputed by many). But it's literally doing absolutely ######### nothing for that much energy consumption. The opportunity cost of NFTs and crypto mining in general is far too high.

also cryptocrap is one of the reasons getting good hardware is hard right now and more expensive than it should be, because those ######### are taking the chips for their crpytofarms.

you are part of humanity. also as it is an nft whoever has the bookmark can just delete it and charge you again. every time you log in theoretically.

Me going down with humanity would be a small sacrifice for the greater good of things.
On a serious note, if i really wanted the pinhead voicelines i would just get a soundboard and press a button everytime i teleported to trigger it.

also, it's not as if most streamers don't already do them themselves when playing pinhead.
Edit: if it IS true and they had to agree to this ######### because that 'company' helped them get the license... I say remove the entire license and remake the ability and give it to Deathslinger.
