Missed Connection - Really Fun Spirit Game on Mother's Dwelling

Hi. So I'm going to try something pretty weird to do over the DBD forums. There was this one game I played as survivor where we played on Mother's Dwelling. The game was super intense. The person playing killer was The Spirit and they played very well. She held a strong 3-gen situation when there were 2 generators left to repair. In the end, all of the survivors escape because I was able to flashlight save someone at the exit. I played as Detective Tapp. I am looking for ALL of the players in the game, because it was one of the most fun matches I ever had! The Spirit played SUPER well and SUPER fun! My teammates were able to concentrate on generator pressure. I have a screenshot of the post-game lobby.

Lol I thought I was the Spirit player for a sec because I played a recent game on Mother’s Dwelling as Spirit and it was also a close one.

What is wrong with you? I want to see if I can find these players that I had a fun time playing with and friend them. Unless you were in the match, you have no clue how the game went. Mother's Dwelling is a massive map, of course they're likely to "perform below average according to MMR criteria". The Spirit did a great job in my opinion. I don't care about MMR or the outcome. The game was INTENSE! I'm trying to find people I had fun with, and you're over here thinking I want to make people feel bad. That's messed up.

Lmao what? They won the game, the Spirit lost the game. That can happen. And OP enjoyed that match a lot. What on earth is wrong with that? Killers can still lose some matches when playing at mmr fitting to their skill, just like they can also win some matches.

You are looking at DBD like some robot using MMR as your eyes. If the game is 4 independent games, how does altruism get factored in? Saying that survivors are not on the same team and their interests just align makes no sense. That's like saying a football team doesn't work together, they just pass the ball to each other to move the ball to the same side of the field. Survivors use TEAMWORK in order to succeed in the best way possible. Survivors can take hits so their injured teammate doesn't get downed.

Nobody here said that the game is supposed to be 4E / 4K.

Like I said before, unless you were in the game, you didn't know how it went. At the end, the Spirit was about to get 2 kills. They would have gotten the 2 kills if I didn't find a green flashlight in a chest AND if we didn't use teamwork AND if I missed the flashlight timing.

I just posted this to look for some players. You say that I have self-centered empathy? I assume people don't play DBD cuz they hate themselves. It WAS a fun game. I am looking for these players, so I could talk to them. There would be no chance of me performing as well as the Spirit did in this game. Maybe I could learn from the other players.

I don't know who urinated in your Cheerios this morning, but I see no benefit in you posting on this thread that has nothing to do with you. Especially just to accuse someone who is complimenting every player in the game of enjoying "stomping on someone worse than [them]"?

I'm sorry, too. I got really heated over this.

I'm definitely not looking for a match specifically the same end results. If the 5 of us did get another game together, we could go to a different map, so that the Spirit wouldn't have to cross the galaxy that Mother's Dwelling is. There's a better chance of her wiping the floor with us than not. I just loved how we had to fight tooth and claw, and we barely still made it out. I was scared of missing the flashlight timing. I didn't want to let my teammate down. I also liked how my teammates knew that there was a 3-gen threat. A lot of times someone would go repair the far generator. Then, it would be much harder to repair the final generator. I was proud of my team, and I was even in awe of the killer. I have to admit that I was a little proud of myself. I don't wield a flashlight as well as other players do in DBD. Spirits are a lot trickier to out-maneuver than other killers.

I'm glad we talked this out. I have to agree with you about the checkpoints. I definitely get more satisfaction finishing a generator as a survivor than I do hooking someone as the killer. I like your profile picture, by the way. I love Detectives Hunch! It was my second choice after Better Together. I picked Better Together because I like the message of coming together on the forums to talk about things in DBD. You're a pretty cool person. I don't want to be a stereotypical angry forum keyboard warrior, so I would like to apologize again for getting so worked up over this. I think we had a good discussion overall. I hope anyone reading this has a nice day, and I really do hope that there would be a chance to reconnect this DBD missed connection.
