Found a link for anyone wondering, but this looks pretty suspicious as nothing was announced, best I can say is, do not buy it, it’s most definitely a scam

If it's not being sold on the same stores as the game itself was launched (Steam and so on), assume it's fake.

It's a known fake. It popped up a couple months ago alongside a supposed Spiral Saw chapter.

Instant Gaming took information from an unofficial source as an official announcement and prepared an entry on the system for it.

And if you read the article, which Instant Gaming clearly didn't, it's 100% speculative and based solely on the fact that Dead Space was an option during a survey.
In conclusion, it's fake.

Always assume something is fake if it's not an official communication by the devs. And by "official communication", I mean an actual official communication, not a supposed screenshot of one or someone saying they (or "a friend") saw the communication. You'll never be scammed that way.
However, there are also trustworthy sources, but those you learn with experience.

It’s common sense that chapters will continue to be sold on the platforms that have previously been used:
In-game and Xbox/Playstation/Steam Stores.
If you try to buy something from an unsanctioned third party you’re asking for trouble.

I bought games from this site some time ago without issues. So i don't think its an scam. Instant gaming always have pre launch keys to sell that are unlocked to claim when the launch day arrive, for example my State of Decay 2 copy from MS its from them. And the last thing i bough was the Fallout Classics collection for steam. And i never had any issue.

The fact that this “chapter” was on sale on this third party platform and not in the in game store should be a huge red flag for anyone with common sense.

Yup, people are just being paranoid. I don't put my hands on the fire for anyone but instant gaming its a trusted site and im happy about this news. I wonder if the new chapter will come with a new map in space, it would be so cool.

I think the Dead Space chapter is fake, but I hope someday we will get it. I would love a Space map for an Alien chapter or Dead Space.

It won't make much sense to be fake news, cause why ruin your site reputation and risk legal actions at doing it? Unless someone want to sabotage them idt its fake news. Maybe someone just publish it too soon cause i browse other dlcs in the site, and there is another dlc that is called "Spiral Saw" also pending. So.. maybe this two dlc will come at some point.

Someone send a screenshot in this conversation, a customer chatting with Instant Gaming staff.
They said they know the chapter because of Leaks by daylight, a Twitter account that says many things but nothing is true.
I think instant gaming wanted the people hype and just failed. Its risky I agree but I dont believe it.
However I love this plateform.

Yep the 3 games are pretty decent and aged well, a remake was announced for 2023 i think. If you want to play them starting from Dead space 1 its the best choice cause they are cronological and you play as the same protagonist.

Because a scam is a dishonest activity. You'll note there's a reservation tab beneath it: that tab may request personal details and most likely bank account or card details.
And no, I won't be touching that reserve tab because I don't know where that would lead. Simply pressing that tab alone could cause issues.
