Got to play against Billy twice in a row just now
I don't think that has happened in a long time. Currently queing in for a match right now and hoping for three straight. This killer didn't deserve the nerf he got and it was cool to play against him.

You're one lucky bastard. I have played against one Billy in like a month :/
3 -
You’re a lucky mf dude

The gods have blessed you. I really really miss all the pulse pounding moments against good hillbillys. They're all super nice too, i don't think i've ever felt spited by one of them. I miss them so much :(

You sure it wasnt the same person twice in a row? Happens a lot to me with sbmm

This happened to me yesterday as wel.. It was cool, I like going against Billy. Both where literal Gods and destroyed us with a 4K at 4 and 5 gens left. But that doesn't matter :)

I get the odd billy every few days I have to concur with previous comment most Billy's I've played against have been pretty fair & fun was given my first ever hatch escape by a Billy too.
Got 5 hunteress matches in a row last night 3 of the 5 were the same killer (only 2 were in a row) not so fun

I remember in 2019 it was so common to see Billy that I actually used to get bored of hearing the chainsaw noise.
4 -
wow that's actually a miracle lol. I do miss old Billy.
1 -
He's still very solid, just obsolete compared to Blight and Bubba imo.
4 -
I can’t remember the last time I’ve seen a billy…

What's a Billy?
2 -
He has a faster charge time and can get survivors on tiles with a single chainsaw usage on tiles Billy either can't or has to invest a lot of time. The only advantage Billy has is mobility but Bubba kind of compensates that by having faster chases and being very good at proxy camping.
3 -
DELETE THE OVERHEAT AND THE ANNOYING ROAR. ADMIT THE MISTAKE AND MOVE ON.
This is exhibit A as to why you don't nerf a killer around a low skill bracket. Now he still has a high skill cap but performs worse than than other similar killers. Literally no reason to take him over Blight or Bubba if you're trying to win a game.
"Oh no! Billy might curve around this tile! Would be a shame if I..dropped the pallet and moved on."
3 -
For the love of god guys, stop ovverating Billy’s curves so much.
Most people who get hit by curves keep hugging every loop like bots and don't even try to spin him when it's so predictable when he's about to sprint.
Bubba with double Chilli or purple Chilli and Beast's Marks is infinitely better and easier to play.
There's a good reason why Bubba is so popular these days while nobody plays Billy.
3 -
Nah it wasn’t. One was perkless on The Game the other was adept Billy on Gas Heaven.
1 -
Sorry but some loops are borderline impossible to curve if the survivor is not playing like a bot. Bubba with good addons is better at 90% of tiles (maybe Billy is better at 4 lanes, but just that).
1 -
billy is almost always fun to play against and the reason I say almost is because devour hope billy exists and some billy players are fricken gods and curve around the tightest corners like it's nothing
oh and because myers stole billy's chainsaw
2 -
Or they greed the pallet for no reason. There are very few tiles that Billy can curve once the pallet is dropped. Obviously the cars are super unsafe because he can glide on those, but he'll bump almost everything else. I get so many curves on car pallets because survivors don't know the collision.

Yeah, many people are just not used to play against Billy these days, especially new players who have basically never seen him, so when you do get them most of the time, it's because they made a big mistake.
Curves are like a magic trick; once you know the details of how it works, you stop getting surprised.
Engravings were a valid choice back in days because of the old charge add-ons; now you're always at risk using them whether you find people who know how to counter you, or go into a map that sucks for Billy.

I've got one Billy yesterday. One in weeks. You're so lucky.
1 -
I see him regularly. A lot more than Hag, Clown, Twins, Plague, etc.

I saw 2 last weekend and thanked them both for playing Billy, as they are rare for me to see. They were both descent at curving too.

The thing is that not every map is good for Billy, so the one advantage that he's supposed to have over Bubba doesn't count in every instance.
If you get like an indoor map, you can't really use your power properly, so he basically becomes straight up worse than Bubba in every single way.

I played five games as Billy yesterday just to complete an old tome. It was pretty fun but nerfing him was super unnecessary 😠
I want to see the day where I face Twins twice in a row. I can't even remember the last game against Twins, and I play a lot of games every day as survivor.

Funnily enough, one of my last trials before leaving DBD was against a Billy.
And that trial was something else: we were playing on Grim Pantry and everyone was using older Survivors. The nostalgic feeling attached to this trial was so powerful that I even started to reconsider leaving the Fog.
But then I made the mistake of queuing up for another match...
2 -
You contradict yourself, the reason people don’t use him anymore is because he isn’t good anymore.
way to much effort for normal rewards and no good addons.
0 -
hmm I wonder why, maybe because he’s not good anymore.

I’m looking forward to his addon buffs in a couple of days. Plan on playing him a bunch.

most people would never rate billy anywhere near top 5 if they have a brain in there head.
but stay delusional ig
