Camping, tunneling and slugging are existing because the game design is so bad that it allows it. Here are some changes that could fix the majority of the problems we are seeing in DbD :
- When a survivor is hooked, why doesn't the hook disappear underground (swallowed by the entity) and reappear somewhere else on the map (regurgitated by the entity as the survivor is not ready to die) ? Camping and tunneling FIXED with one simple mechanic, changing how the hooks are working.
- Slugging ? After x time on the ground, allow the survivor to stand up alone. FIXED.
- And then balance the game that the killer can do something at high MMR without the need of camping and tunneling.
- Change maps' layout to balance them with less pallets/windows, and make them all of the same size. Also remove the map with buildings or completely rework them with less building. Global speed/patrol problems FIXED.
- Change ruin into a non-hex perk or built-in generator game design with a regressing speed of 200% when 5/4 gens remaining, 150% when 3 gens are remaining, 100% when 2 gens remaining and 0% when 1 gen remaining (for 3 gens situation ruin would be too OP). Gen rush FIXED.

Why should the killer have to pick up and hook a survivor?
Solve both problems by automatically taking downed survivors and popping them up somewhere on a hook.

Ye, can work aswell but it would remove the possibility of bodyblocks to get a save, flashlight saves etc... which are good gameplay features in a balanced environment.
