Concerned about MMR and Cheaters

With MMR becoming the new norm it worries me about the prevalence of cheaters. As we all know, cheaters feel they have something to prove by cheating their way to a victory. This already gives them the edge they need to max out their ranks very quickly. It's only logical that MMR will exacerbate this.

While we do have our own conventional way of reporting people, there are only so many people reporting these players. Not everyone is on PC or able to record every single game, much less have the time to upload the video somewhere and file a report. Even worse, that's a lot of work to report a single player and cheaters can undo all of that work in a few minutes.

This begs the question: is there something else that can be done to stop cheats from eventually taking over the game? Better yet, what can still be done to combat this problem before it escalates out of hand?

Apologies if I'm being overzealous because I don't fully understand the scale of the issue, but I love this game and I'd hate for it to be swallowed up by people who would rather see it crash and burn.

    You are kinda right. I am on console and there is no way I am going to bother with detailed reports.

    Turning of crossplay is a better solution for me. Not to mention that I see people saying some reported hackers are not getting banned.


    Plus how many non obvious hackers are there when you think about it? I am not sure reports will fix this anytime soon. Bhvr needs to do something.

    I guess that is the better solution: just move everyone to console 😀 maybe then there will be less cheating

    Haha there is no way anyone on pc would switch to console even if hackers were in every game.

    I think.

    Jokes aside I really hope they do something about this soon. It is the biggest issue atm. I put it even above the optimisation.
