Can bhvr do something about the cheaters?
Yeah, I might stop playing altogether until the cheaters stop.
Just today I had 3 cheaters, blatant script kiddies taking the game hostage and once I was a survivor (as a survivor I escaped but I spectated for like 5 min)
The killer had to dc and I'm guessing they got the dc penalty because it is very needed, GJ bhvr.
Please either do something about the cheaters or remove dc penalties, we do not need to be punished for cheaters and no I'm not calling them hackers because most of them pay for the scripts so they are more pathetic than the actual hackers.

So I'm guessing you have low mmr if you have only seen 3 cheaters right now.
I have 2 clips right now, but it is not like bhvr will do something.

Fair enough since warning people here about certain common script kiddies is too much and mods will erase that part.
Yeah I forgot that they won't do anything to help the normal players, I guess it is the perfect time to hack legacy or something since they don't care at all.

unless we have video evidence they don't have a clue. nevermind the 10 minute flashlights, a person being hooked 20 times in 30 seconds, insta heals, insta gens, 12 DH's in a minute, 27 flashbombs, and so on. It seems like some timers and charts with red flags thrown up could point to a trend of those people and reduce the numbers without making the screwed people record and upload video. It wouldn't catch them all but it could certainly put a damper on the worst.
people on YT and the forums can do the math and see how fast things should go so I don't see much for excuses as to why they can't manage this.

They need to add a forfeit option after 10 minutes. Simple as that. And we can stop this ludicrous "taking the game hostage" nonsense. It goes well beyond just hackers. But that is a HUGE problem at the moment.

Is there a chance it depends on the server you're on?
I'm on the UK servers and although I've definitely faced a lot more cheaters than usual lately, I don't get them as much as other people say they have.

I actually haven’t encountered that many cheaters. I might just be lucky but it is a huge issue nonetheless. Hopefully the devs at least acknowledge it soon.

cheating will continue to happen as long as players feel they can get away with it with no real punishment on the horizon. I still dont understand why people want to cheat in a game that has no real competative scene still tho thats no excuse to cheat regardless.

I saw one on someone's stream bragging about how they didn't care if they got banned, they would just buy the game for a few dollars and start again on a new account. They said they had already been banned 20+ times. They were being blatantly obvious that they were hacking and seemed to want people to know, and were not afraid of anything happening to them. Clearly they have no fear of the devs doing anything to stop them.
