Survivor Quality Decreases at Night
Just now, I had a Freddy game.
1 survivor runs the killer for 30 seconds and goes down around basement. Hooked in basement.
The next goes to save him, the survivor that gets saved proceeds to stay around shack basement. Goes down and hooked back down there.
The guy who went to save him, tries again. Gets found and proceeds to loop/run killer around shack making it harder for me and the other teammate to go for a save. Teammate goes down at shack and taken to basement.
Meanwhile we've gotten 1 gen done and it was the one I did. I ran the killer around one half of the map before going down for the first time. Having Kindred, seeing a teammate just crouch walk around and hide constantly is pretty annoying. Especially when I'm in a chase and someone is on the hook.
Killer knew how to counter loops, create pressure and bait teammates, checked for survivors nearby when I was down on a pallet, mindgamed well by hiding the red glare, etc. They were noticeably better than my teammates.
Anyone else notice something like this? I am a 100% solo survivor so having 3 randoms who don't know anything about efficiency really sucks, especially when its over and over.
The game before that, went against a Nurse who snowballed the game and downed every survivor around shack basement while I got the final gen (did 3) and got out.
It is absolute hell at night as a solo survivor main lol. At least US east coast.
tldr; night time quality drastically goes down on survivor side
Lil rant. o7

Oh, yeah. Definitely. Even EU suffers from this. Though it makes sense, as I imagine the only people who play this deep into the night are either big gamers, that are likely to stay in groups to ensure maximum gaming in fact occurs, or people that just want to kill time and play something. At least that's been my experience when I've played both Killer and Survivor during those times.

It's a global game with people who use VPNs to spoof regional servers. Night and day mean nothing T.T
But yes. This is a thing.

Weird, usually the survivors quality increases at night for me.
In the afternoon is balanced usually, 2 bad 2 good players.
During the night after 12 a.m most survivors are pretty good.

Eu 10pm-2am is when I notice a drop in teammate quality and longer lobby times.
Before and after that... it is normal.

I have a vid that I downed near a hook, and 2 teammates body block killers to save me.
I mean, I was near a hook, blocking is useless. They gave killer free pressure.
Im not even good and had to carry that match hard.

i get a majorly increased % of very genrushy/tryhardy/toxic survs as killer in the dead of night on east coast (2-4 am being the worst)
maybe they're european/russian or something, don't have a habit of checking pings, but past primetime (8pm or so) the survs i get are decidedly less and less fun to go against and i have far less capacity to play normally with each hour that goes by

Time hasn't been a factor for me. It's been this way ever since MMR launched for me.

for me is the opposite, my killer quality drops to 0 with all the meta squad 4 man i get. reason why i barely paly killer at all lately, im trying to finish my last tome challenge but idk i will be playing much killer in the next tome at all.

Can’t say I’ve seen a decline in “quality”, specifically. I have seen it become very, very inconsistent later at night. You got your god nurse, followed by a frosty eyes oni. The one game you got 3 default dwight, jake and david, the next you got a madman of an ace and his god looper-friend quentin.
