Console Players: Should We Turn Off Crossplay Due to the Rampant Cheating/Hacking in this Game?
I’m considering turning it off now. The worst kind of cheater/hackers are the subtle ones. Killers moving around like they’re in Tier 3 Bloodlust always (any one run into that infamous Speed Pinhead at launch?), survivors picking themselves up without Unbreakable, & survivors progressing gens quickly. There’s more subtle cheats that players pass off as legit gameplay, but these are just to name a few. Makes me wonder how many unfair losses the community has endured without us realizing we were at an unfair advantage.
What are your thoughts? Anyone doing this already? If so, how are que times? How are your quality of games?

Did u find any hackers in your recent games?
If the answer is NO, then I would suggest not turning off crossplay.
If the answer is YES, then I would suggest turning it off. You're gonna face longer ques, that's my guess. There aren't a lot of benefits for console players to keep crossplay on if u ask me, outside of faster ques. If there are, they're probably not as significant.
You must base your decision on your recent games & not on what everyone thinks or believes.

Might cut off a majority but not all. Had a fellow Xbox player using an anti hooking cheat the other day.

Having crossplay on/off doesn't stop hackers, they make their way to the crossplay off console games too.

I have had cross play off for a month. Que times are about the same. Never run into hackers. As a killer main its the best gift BHVR has ever given me.

My q times in eu with crossplay off are actually not bad and sometimes even similar to crossplay on.
But if I play killer I think I am just going against toxic 4mans most of my games.

On my consoles i go 50/50 though problem is that i am not being put in the correct matches and that im getting my ass kicked with these high mmr (i have no clue what a high mmr is) im low skilled and that im placed a match with advanced players.
