in 4 weeks everything will be back to normal and I am hyped for Mikaela!

Agreed :) I hope we will have a great event and lots of fun
2 -
okay then why you here crying?
3 -
why are you here caring about why I'm here?
11 -
That's your prerogative to believe so.
I'm personally done with BHVR's scummy business tactics, so no, I won't be coming back for the very likely recycled Halloween event.
6 -
Because it’s funny watching you guys seethe over something so incredibly minor. Okay BHVR got f’d by park avenue big deal. You’re gonna quit the game because an outside license had a requirement that BHVR had no choice in? Car manufacturers make up waaaay more in environmental damage than NFTs will ever do so I guess just cancel everyone who drives now? Point is, it’s a dumb thing to be crying and uninstalling over esp when we all know you’re gonna come back.
4 -
maybe, we will see the steam numbers, I predict peaks of 85-90k players during the event. If I am right this will invalidate the whole boycott shenanigan. We shall see
0 -
Yeah casual, don't get me wrong I wasn't talking about balance this game will never have that BHVR made that obvious, but what I am saying is when I bought the game I expected something obviously difficult, I didn't get a killer game to you know meet the friendly trapper and skip around the dandelions with him.
0 -
So? I didn't say a damn thing about the steam numbers, because I don't care.
0 -
BHVR had a choice to not agree to the licence agreement, that's what licence agreements are for... And yes while car companies produce a lot of the worlds pollution, they have a positive impact on the world, cars and vehicles are extraordinarily important to daily life, and they aren't involved in illegal practises like cryptos are. BHVR supporting NFTs is literally supporting illegal activity and meaningless carbon emissions, cryptos and NFTs are so incredibly fruitless it's astounding. To think it's "not a big deal" is impossibly nieve.

"People generally have problems, and they try to avoid those problems and the way they do that is by adopting pseudo-moralistic stances on large scale social issues so they look good to their friends and neighbors."
The outrage summed up.
6 -
yeah, they will be back... update isn't even out , yet, alot of people are already leaving.
we will see the numbers after the new update is released.
3 -
if the numbers will be good this all "outrage" will be for nothing, a complete failure.
0 -
well said!
2 -
And? People have a right to be upset, and don't deserve to have their feelings invalidated.
If you want to keep playing the game, that's fine. But you don't get to talk down to people who are stopping.
8 -
Believe as you see fit, but if the numbers are up it will mean that people kept playing. This will invalidate the argument of the "outrage".
We will see what will happen, I will be playing for sure
1 -
Unless they get rid of the awful sbmm in 4 weeks those numbers are going to continue to go down you're acting nfts are the only thing causing people to leave
4 -
I bet the numbers will go up not down. Peak of 85-90k during the event. You will see
That said, I don't support SBMM, I despise it!
1 -
Like every time...most "content creator" will suck the last drop of the topic before finding a new one: Next killer theory...Is he Candyman ? Buff/nerf boon totems !!! ...

I mean, i've had dbd uninstalled for almost a month now and don't have the urge to redownload it ever again
I'd much rather not play dbd at all and not even solely from this whole incident, I just cannot deal with how long it took them to have possibly, possibly because console can't test console ptb changes sp we don't even know if it'll work, fix only 1 part of what is causing optimization issues, ONLY 1 part, and the part they fixed has been an issue for around 2 years, and it took them 1 month to fix a memory leak
I still have several questions on why dbd is worked on like this, why can't they have a PTB on console when literally PUBG has a test build on console, why do they take so long to fix an issue, it took almost a whole year for them to note that Legion had a bug with their vault momentum. Its honestly just hard to watch over this game anymore just to see updates constantly be low quality, and high quality updates usually tend to never get changes out of a public test build (Which shouldn't you listen to when people complain about issues in a PTB? why do we still get updates where the PTB feedback is completely ignored), I could go on and on but its honestly embarrassing that this happens so consistently

Hope you've cleaned your room at least three times to have the authority to dish out Jordan Peterson quotes like that.
5 -
Cars are useful
NFT’s aren’t
7 -
Ecofascist nonsense: "Humans are too many, we don't have enough resources"
Genuine understanding of the situation: "We actually have enough food, water, and shelter for the entire population many times over, but operate in socioeconomic strata and systems which thrive on forced and superficial scarcity, coupled with an understanding that people are too lazy and selfish to bother to educate themselves on the situation"
4 -
You have repeated this nonstop in here, each time saying absolutely nothing of importance. What do you have to gain from defending them so hard? Are you a paid employee?
If you want to play it, play it. That doesn't mean you're an all-knowing god who can tell everyone what they will or won't do. People telling you they won't play anymore and all you say is "we'll see, numbers, steam, blah blah blah" which is completely irrelevant to the individual experiences of the people on this forum.
Will this cause a massive dip in players? Probably not, but these kinds of situations ARE the things that chip away at a game's lifespan little by little. And they aren't something Behaviour should be making a habit of doing.

It’s not naive it’s true. if all NFTs stopped existing it would have zero impact on the world and climate. To think it would is impossibly naive
1 -
And with this you destroyed any credibility you might have on the issue. Enjoy being a mindless consumer with no morals or ideas except "Game fun, must buy game."
7 -
From September to now the average steam player count has gone down 30k so that ain't happening chief.
5 -
I mean the game itself I really like and will play.
Boycotting the game because of the developers wont do anything. People act like industries today don't already destroy so much more of the environment than BHVR ever could on their own lol.
But I don't support what BHVR is doing especially when all they are making is something completely digital and not tangible in any way
0 -
yes because stopping something that produces more pollution than New Zealand from existing wouldn't have an impact on global warming. Please go do some research.
6 -
Just a little bit cleaner every day!
0 -
That's not enough. If you truly care about the environment you need to smash your PC to bits.
2 -
not really, because our personal contributions to global warming are inconsequential to that of major industries such as concrete and mining.
2 -
I have no doubt people will continue to play this game despite the NFT situation.
Personally I don’t care that BHVR did it, but it’s moreso the fact they’re super shady about it. Communication has never been their strong suit so it’s not entirely shocking.
0 -
Im saying, regardless of your own personal hope, its out of any of our hands because we can only control ourselves. We can't change how people feel or what people will do because of how they feel. If they wanna quit, they'll quit. If they wanna continue, they'll continue. But ultimately its out of BHVRs hands as well. Whats done is done. Theres no putting the genie back in the bottle. They could make apology statements to die down the fire, but thats about it. They can't delete the NFTs they helped create nor go back in time and re-do what they did.
They made their choice, got exposed, and burned because of it.
1 -
Content creators are just working a job. You can't blame them for working their job, its how they pay their bills and put food on their table. If the well dries up and they lose money they won't stop working, they'll just move on to something profitable. If the place they're working at has a moral conflict involved, they'll usually forgo the moral conflict if they can afford it. If they can't afford it, they'll just be back to their job like you said making commentary about boon totems....
2 -
Girl I’m sorry but if you think so many people will buy the hellraiser NFT that it’ll cause more pollution than New Zealand then I think you over estimate how big a market NFTs are in general…you sound weird getting this worked up over a made up problem
2 -
- dont address me as "girl"
- go educate yourself on Ethereums contribution to global warming.
6 -
Go educate yourself on cars, clothes, electronics in general etc etc. I don’t care about ethereum ms thang
2 -
I have educated myself on such things, thanks for assuming. And I do what I can to not contribute to the issue. Despite the fact my single contributions are insignificant, it's peace of mind.
2 -
Then you don't care about the mountain of evidence that you're provably, laughably wrong. An allergy to education isn't a good look, kiddo.
2 -
You do realize DBD steam numbers were already trending down correct? RE chapter spiked them and immediately everyone left again
1 -
ykw I’m not gonna get into it. That last line told me all I need to know 💀
1 -
‘An allergy to education’ sir ive already educated myself. Are NFTs a scam? Yeah. Dies dead by daylight collabing with a hellraiser NFT single handedly destroy the planet? No. Is the community being extremely over dramatic about the whole ‘scandal’? Yes. An allergy to logic isn’t a good look kiddo
2 -
Maybe, if they fix these new game breaking bugs. I came back from a month break to being froze in nearly every survivor match.
Yay. Glad to be back. Prob gonna be gone till the next update again after today.
0 -
(In case anyone was wondering why NFTs are a problem.)
0 -
It's funny when they use a tiny or non-industrialized country to say "OMG crypto uses more power than an entire country".
Meanwhile compare it to a country like China and its less than 1%.
But hey, as long as not playing a video game makes them feel like they're saving Gaia.
2 -
Continuing to play this game doesn't make one morally bankrupt though.
1 -
Well to be fair, people that keep playing this game can still be caring about the environment. But there's no reason to try and downplay the issue with the support of NFT's as well.
The assumption that everybody upset about the NFT's will play the game again the next day is a bit ridiculous though. It's definitely not wrong to boycott a game because of something likes this. It's a good thing actually.
0 -
Exactly. They don’t care about any of this they just care about the fact they feel better than everyone else.
1 -
just as i said, update is out for about 2 days and the % didn't increased, nay, it did the opposite, and, once again, the update dropped 2 days ago....usually after an update, the % op players increases a bit, THEN it starts going down or remain stable, but not this update, i wonder why 🧐

DBD rules once again :) as expected
