You really don't think some people are going to stick their guns?
I've known a lot of people who quit DBD and stay away from it because Console is completely unplayable. Sometimes it's not just a technical issue, but a moral one.

I think some people will stick to there guns but whenever they announce they quit dbd they always come back it’s like a cycle

I’m here to stay but I understand why people are leaving.

So what ? Let them ! If you don't feel like it anymore, you can leave. I will continue to support BHVR

I don't doubt there will be some people who are like that. This game is an addiction for some people after all. But ultimately it's still a game.
I don't blame anyone who still wants to play the game, I genuinely don't. But if you want to show distaste by not spending money on DBD, or not playing the game. Either way works. I don't mind people who don't think this is a big deal. I disagree heavily with them and sure, I would often use sarcastic mocking tones with them. But they're free to have an opinion as much as anyone else.
With that said, I still won't touch this game until they retract this crap.

I'm not quitting, but I'm not sure I'll spend any real money on the game again unless the Devs do something.

That's funny.
I think i will play still as my friends are still but I won't spend money on it

No, while I may be on the forums I am not coming back to the game. I've already long since been boycotting other game companies.... Activision Blizzard, EA, Ubisoft and Konami when they went downhill. So no, I have no issue with refraining from playing and paying in DBD.

It honestly was the way for me with WoW when I used to play. Ever since the huge lawsuit that happened back in the summer I haven't been playing, but I used to be on and off with WoW when I did play.
Basically the devs or higherups did something I didn't like, I'd boycott the game, then the new expac came out with promises of "We've changed, we promise we won't do borrowed power again!" only to revert back to the borrowed power system. I know it's quite the exaggeration, but it feels like an abusive partner where there's the honeymoon phase, then the abuse, the breaking point, the peace, then the honeymoon phase all over again.
That's how I feel with the state of DbD right now. They had a huge period of time since the RE update where everything was garbage, then the script kiddie epidemic, then the boycotting of the Pinhead chapter. Then came the honeymoon phase of this mid-chapter release, the PTB was astounding with all these amazing changes, so many add-ons for the pig were being changed, we were at the top of the world. Then came the NFT news, they covered it up as "We're not doing this, it's all the license holder's doing." which evolved into "We actually worked with them for months, it's not a big deal we promise!"
Lately it's only been that constant cycle and it is tiring to deal with when it's a professional game development company. It's not a relationship, it's a business. There shouldn't be THIS MUCH trouble getting the message of "Deal with the cheaters, amend the game's many problematic bugs, and deal with the horrendous grind."

I love and hate this game to much to leave it so I'll be around till the very end if dbd.

Yep that pretty much describes me. Then again I really didn't give a crap to begin with. Sure, I care on some level and think it's dirty but 3 things to note:
- "vote with your wallet" is just wishful thinking and does not, has not and will never work.
- I enjoy this game way too much and was very particularly excited about the new Boon Perks and Windows of Opportunity.
- Most corporations are doing nasty shady stuff like Apple and slavery. It's a cruel world. Go figure.
- Nature will take it's coarse. I have no control over the real world. We will either fix climate change easily with new technology, suffer through it and then try to mitigate it(Most likely) or be rendered extinct by it(Least likely.) Either way I can't do crap about it and neither can anyone else(Bill Gates & Joe Biden included.)
