As a survivor it definetly feels much better to play against, even weak. I assume that against bad players there's no difference. I haven't played her so i can't tell if she feels worse to play but i assume that at high level she will be easy to juke, she had counterplay before with ironwill/uninjured now much more and I hope they don't add the visual dust. IMO she is fine but definetly worse than blight and nurse and won't have a chance against good teams

I think this is a great change for her. It's less bullcrap for survivors to chase her, but the information isint a win for either side.
It essentially enables an average mindgame scenario- You can possibly bait survivors to do stuff using the audio cue, similar to the redstain or moonwalks. Survivors can adapt to how they play and follow it, like normal. It adds a much better 1v1 with her power.
But ill forever miss my playstyle of swapping to near targets mid chase with monitor and abuse.
Excited to learn new tricks, however.
Her addon to block windows is likely the worst of all. Pls buff those numbers or somethin

She's balanced now, only thing I'd change is MDR combined with Dried Cherry Blossom. Instead of MDR removing Scratch Marks, it should add the dust kicking as a draw back so it actually has a downside. Other than that she's fine

She does feel much more reasonable to go against that is for sure, and playing her definitely makes me feel less bad lol. I would maybe like something else tuned on her but I can't tell for sure yet, her speed is her biggest strength but I think taking that away could be a lot.

Honestly I'm not at high enough level with Spirit to have a strong opinion on how balanced the current version of Spirit is. She is weaker than before if you discount her popular Killer Instinct/Super-speed add-on combo, simply because it's now possible for survivors to know where Spirit is by sound alone. I've seen streamed games where really good survivors were juking or 360'ing phased Spirits in a chase, or knowing which side of a pallet to be on based on sound.
But how much weaker overall? Was she too powerful before? Is she still strong or weak now? I don't know. 🤷♂️

I wish there was a way to still pull off jump scares. I do regret to say that I was guilty of using the "stand still" tech briefly after getting her, but I do wish there was still some way to get grabs at gens and such.
I feel like the jumpscare element (the only part I ever really used) is partially gone now.
also, she's been feeling really sluggish to play outside of phase walking for some reason.

I play split between survivor and killer.I had been enjoying playing as spirit until the recent updates,now gameplay just feels flat and not as fun.The developers need to remember that some players paid cash for the ability to play killers such as spirit and messing with her to the detriment of gameplay may leave them feeling conned.As survivor since the update haven’t seen Spirit once.I have now given up on spirit and returned to playing hag.

she isn't now you can hear her if she is near you. as for addons, that's laughable because she needs more speed and duration than insta recharging her power if you want good map control

Every killer struggles at high levels except for Nurse. Doesn’t seem to be a Spirit issue rather it is a SBMM issue.

Interesting because I 4k’ed against a good team as her with my 8th hook being my first kill. I had three hexes with Lethal Pursuer as well and they cleansed all of them early so I was perkless for like 75% of the game.

Your anecdotal experience doesn't mean anything objectively. She still destroys bad players but against actually good survivors she's a play thing now. The average player is bad so on average you will do well, but against average players isn't her level of strength objectively. You judge power on good vs good, not good vs average player.

All I’m saying is I have gone against good survivors and I’ve been able to win some because I have good experience with the killer. Just practice the killer and just because you get clapper doesn’t make the killer bad. She moves at 176% movement speed which is pretty significant.

There's nothing I can say to change your mind so there isn't much point here. When you're actually playing her regularly at top mmr she isn't going to do very well. I'm not saying she's anywhere near the worst killer in the game or anything, but she is absolutely not competitively viable whatsoever anymore. Good teams will clap her. She's basically a noob stomper now.

To be honest, all the nerf did was remove her capacity of "mind gaming" by standing still which was the major complaint of Survivors across all ranks. She still retains her capacities for pressure, movement and tracking. She wasn't bad by any means, but it makes is possible to perform better guesses on where she is teleporting and react. I think she is at a healthy spot with having advantages and weaknesses that level each other.

Some addons are now even more broken than before like the killer instinct and the blink back addons
but the directional sound nerf is … really powerful
