Got called a toxic killer
So I went to watch a replay of a game I had a against a streamers team, was playing trickster and got lucky (Kappa) and got the haddonfield map. I find 3 teammates in one corner of the map, and theres a gen. Long story short they didn't leave the corner of the map, and then called me toxic because I didn't simply just give up and leave that gen when theres 3 of them 100% there. I was essentially forced into tunneling, which brings me to my point.
Why should I as a killer give up a gen and pressure when survivors don't want to give up on a gen / corner of a map. When survivors no matter how hard they are kicking your ass wont take it easy on a killer that has 0 hooks, why should I take it easy? Am I wrong? or am I just continuing the cycle of toxicity.

Thanks for your input.

How about just don't listen to entitled players and play the game your way? People will call you out for anything and it's not their job to decide how you're supposed to play.

I usually don't really care but the dude had his whole team report me for sportsmanship, just really rubbed me the wrong way.

The more I play, the less I end up caring. PERSONALLY, I want terrible things to happen to ppl who purposely tunnel and camp, but those dumb games are at least overridden by the fun games I have with killers who will watch TV on "The Game" with me, or will sit nicely in my classroom while I teach them stuff in Midwhich with the help of the chalkboards, or at least play killer in a fair way that doesn't involve the tunnels or the camps =) I would just say ignore them. There are DEFINITELY toxic players on both sides. Sounds like you ran into a SWF who wanted to leap frog from gen to gen and escape in 5 minutes /shrug. At least they didnt bomb you with blinds and sabo's?

They don't ban cheaters, they certainly won't ban you for playing the game. You did nothing wrong, if they choose to stay in one place then that's on them.

BHVR requires proof to reports or no action is taken. Its not like R6 or Overwatch where a certain number of reports get you auto ban until review. So, you have nothing to worry about there.

Lmao you seriously cracked me up, your not wrong about that.
They tried to hit me with flashlights, just luckily I was playing trickster and the knives are extremely punishing. I thought it was illegal to be toxic in Canada lol (streamer was from canada).

I promise you if you had left and they got gen after gen, especially if you were not able to get a hook, you're reward for that act of kindness would be t-bag after t-bag. After that if you called them out on their behaver it would be nothing but "Baby killer" and "Get Good". That would be after the "GG EZ" of course. Survivors, in my experience, expect killers to play like bots and get VERY upset when they don't.

Just ignore.
I know a very popular streamer who always made fun of any player that brought Undying + Ruin + Tinkerer, let alone just the 2 hexes.
He then swapped to killer for a whole week or so, and realized very quickly that if he wants to do decently well or give himself a fighting chance against good teams on mediocre killers, then he has to bring them too. I remember he got destroyed on Nemesis and then brought the super tryhard build that he makes fun of killers for when hes on survivor. He still got destroyed with them. Now he's back to survivor queing and back to calling players bad for running Undying + Ruin. Go figure lol.
You can't win with some people and self awareness eludes them.

You absolutely shouldn't have to give up a gen. The survivors could just have easily given up on that same gen and gone elsewhere. Nothing but an entitled SWF team this time, or a streamer playing up to their audience.
IMO you did the right thing. Why leave an area when you know the survivors are there....
