Does DS deactivate when blessing a totem
I know DS turns off when cleansing a totem but does that happen with the blessing?

I think so.
Nvm, it doesn't but it should.

DS currently does not deactivate when blessing a totem, or uncaging someone facing PH.

no it doesn't

Okay so it looks like there's a few things that are needed to the list of triggers since they are kind of things that already deactivate it.
Also I know solving the box also doesn't do it. Thanks for the answers.

They also have to add touching the exit gates switch to that list. I guess in 2 or 3 years the will implement it eventually.

I think the Exit Gates things is intended.

dont think solving boxes should do it, would be like if ds should deactivate while getting rid of a bear trap... makes no sense. should deactivate if u bless a totem, im agree there.

It should.

Why? I don't really see a reason why it's needed.

Because is the equivalent of cleanse a totem, even better if you not consider that you need few seconds more. You are progressing your second object in game, totems. And also mantaining your DS.

I really don't think it's gonna matter. It's just blessing a totem. You still can't work on gens, heal yourself, etc.

You can cleanse a Hex by blessing a totem.
Currently, you can exploit this and keep your DS. This is obviously unintended.

Didn't think about that. Yep, that shouldn't happen.

It Is a question of equity, making a clearly decusion balance, not Behavior silence not touching the argument. Is blessing better then cleansing? Why Ds deactivate on cleansing and not on blessing? If Hex totem are better then dull, why not making interact with hex, in any means, deactivate Ds, and Ds ok with dull interactoins? Par condicio and clear position by devs, not lazy ok bless ok cleanse not, or at least say why.

why should killer get DS'd when you had whole 14 seconds (not counting the time to get to the place) to do your side objective though? that's not tunneling

I don't mind it personally. I've already agreed with Pulsar, so read my other post.

Since you can get rid of a killer's hex by blessing a totem, DS should deactivate. I hope the fact it doesn't deactivate when blessing right now is an oversight.

I think it's fine if you happen to pick up the box during a chase, but the second you try to solve it DS should turn off.
If you have time to solve the box you're not being tunneled. Same with vaccines.

not really, pin head could be at the other side of the map and teleport, he could be chasing literally people at the other side and you are the only one close to solve it, and someone has to because the team is getting hindred massively cause of it, makes 0 sense to deactivate DS there, would hard to code, also still the same applies with other killer powers... like Pig, Trapper, Plague... makes no sense to me deactivating DS for those reasons...

Has to be an oversight

Solving the box changes the game state and signals to the killer you are ready to jump back in and play the game.
