Event extension for infinite loading bug?
Just want to preface this that I'm asking this not for myself, I've still chosen to not play the game and continue to choose to not play the game until BHVR continues to address the previous controversy regarding Boss Protocol.
A couple of my close friends has been trying to play the game but have been continuously experiencing the infinite loading bug. Even crashing into desktop or being disconnected from the game during the event.
Is there going to be compensation or an extension for this event for them? Because I do feel it's unfair to them that they're still spending their time on the game only for them to not be able to even get into a match in the first place.

Would be nice if the players hitting that 500 error could see a BPO reward of 12-15k bloodpoints. That would be a rough estimate of what they may have gained in the match they waited to get into.

Hope so. I can't bring myself to play during this event anymore because my gaming time is limited and I don't want to waste my time staring at infinite loadings.

Depends how long they take to fix it, I think- if it takes much longer than a few days they should definitely extend the duration to compensate, but if they can fix it quick with a hotfix patch then I think it's probably fine just to lose two days or so.

My guess would be another 500k after the free weekend.
I can't play at all, worked fine then suddenly infinites every time, tried like 20 times, imo it has nothing to do with crossplay, offerings etc., i tried all that and more, the most reasonable cause for this is simply the servers failing to take the player load that comes with the free weekend, so if you can play or not depends on how many players are active in your region, that's my guess.

Have you tried verifying your files? I know the PC players can do this not sure about the console players.

If they don't do it, it would really be absurd. Making a time limited event and then having a bug that stops a considerable portion of the player base to participate in said event would be ridiculous.

A patch was just released on this matter. Don't know if it's fixed though. :)

Its really not much of an event... you see like 1 special gen/hook and a few pumpkins (which is nice) but that's it, like you could easily load in 90% of matches and forget theres even an event on.
If not for the main menu or loading screen I'd forget I'm playing on Halloween

Pretty sure we gonna get some compensation, its literally unplayable. I dont have enough patience to restart the game multiple time and hope it will work.

Apparently, there was an update. My game updated at least. The news in game said it should be fixed.

I played last night (on PC) and had the infinite load screen for the first match. The rest of the night everything worked fine after that one. Sounds like people are still seeing this today?

Don't worry, it doesn't work. I'm on PC, and I had to quit the game to escape an infinite. I didn't have the patience to wait more than five minutes.

We cannot, all we can do is uninstall then reinstall the game.

Yeah it came out about 30 minutes ago, prier to me posting. It didn't work since I got an infinite 2 games later when I updated. Maybe someone didn't update their game? Who knows.

They should extend it because it's not just missing out on bp it's missing out on Halloween tome that is only available during the event.

Many report that the hotfix didn't work for them, i couldn't play at all, what fixed it for me is going without active challenges, when it works for you too, try to do the challenge again maybe with another character.

Oh wow, that really sucks.
Good news Steam users had a fix this afternoon. Hopefully It has fixed some things. I haven't been able to play, due to work, to check it out.

They didn't even extend the anniversary event for console players who literally could not play the game.
Don't expect too much from BHVR.

For me with very good internet and the strongest xbox1 about 40min for this game, and patches about 20min.

Error pop up, if one of the 5 players left the "loading in to the match". That's why all Getting stuck in loading screen... because one individual left(DC) the game during loading...
