What is the best basement bubba build?

monstrous, bamboozle, agitation and iron grasp

monstrous because true basement bubbas run monstrous (don't even bother with insidious, be overt)

bamboozle to secure a down asap and break a lot of chainsaw-denying loops for people

agitation+iron grasp to extend your pickup range to basement as far as possible to get you going on your way

and for extra funtimes in the likely event they try to save at some point (lot easier if you proxy the basement than truly camp with insidious) is that red addon that resets charges on hit, can easily chase down someone with bt with that even after tagging the unhooker

I think I like the proxy camp. I may try blood favor too. I like the be overt and no insidious. I just camped a match, its pretty fun.

blood favor probably won't do much for you, you're bubba - you obliterate pallets as is if you don't let them clap you out of chainsaw dash

but a well-timed bamboozle is a down that nobody can do anything about + helps with the distance survivors gain from windows in general

judging by the comment at the end it is in fact decent results, heyo

i'm not much for camping/proxying with bubba but even i get [sheesh]-smeared in the post-chat so give them a basement 4k for me

Take no perks, go in the basement's far corner (next to a locker), face the corner (with your head slightly toward the middle of the wall), and put the volume on your headphones up high.

Your absence in the game will confuse them, your terror radius will lure them, and you facing away from the survivors will intrigue them. This is especially true if one of them has a flashlight, since they'll see if there's enough of angle to blind you for points by heading to the middle of the wall. At the very least, they'll try to poke your butt.

Once you hear their footsteps behind you, or they try for the blind, turn around and kill them.

Once hooked, go back to your corner and crank up the volume for more footsteps.

After you assert your dominance, spam M1 on their hanging soon-to-be corpses, to warn others what will happen if they poke your butt.

    Easy.

    ---

Edit: Not that I've done this, but if I did, this is what I would do.

Maybe Distressing, Monstrous, Overwhelming Presence, and Mad Grit if I really wanted to take perks though.

Agitation + Iron Grasp is all you need. Those other two slots can go to whatever you'd like. Corrupt and Lethal Pursuer can be helpful to get the game going in the basement quickly, as well as preventing gens from flying. If you're planning to camp then you can bring Insidious.

Oh yeah and you could bring a basement offering too.

I love the mindset. Thanks for the insight <3 I am loving my basement bubba. I have played killer since release and have not had this much fun.
