Jason Voorhees as a Killer

How would you like to have Jason Voorhees as a killer in the game? We already have Freddy Krueger as a killer in the game. So I believe Jason Voorhees fits relatively well into the game.

Nah, we need competition for DBD so they don't get too lazy. Give someone else the IP... these just something wrong about Jason Vorhees Slapping people in the back so they can sprint away while he kicks a gen for Pop goes the weasel. I sincerely doubt BHVR's ability to make this character work thematically as well as mechanically. Would be super disappointing.

I’m sure most people would be perfectly happy having Jason join the killer roster. I unfortunately doubt it will ever happen though, there’s supposedly some hurdles with that IP.

Sadly it won't happen soon. The person who got the rights after the lawsuit said they won't allow Jason in dbd as long as NFTs are a thing in dbd. I can't remember where I saw that though.

There is a Friday the 13th game which is similar to DBD. So we're not getting Jason. But all good since I prefer unique killers created by DbD anyway

the only thing I could think of would be some sort of instadown paired with either stealth, or ceno style teleporting to your general vicinity.

This would be great and I think it's possible to get Jason himself but I was reading they couldn't put anything to do with his mother in the game including ki ki ki ma ma ma. Then we have Jason in Mortal Kombat. Not sure but he seems expensive.

That game is totally dead because of the lawsuit and is not receiving any future updates for the foreseeable future lol.
It may as well not exist.
Certainly not as a real reason to not have Jason in the game.

Of course I want it to happen, I feel like 95% of the community wants it but, the thing is, yes, the lawsuit is over BUT they are still negotiating how to split the money from now on when it comes to a lot of different aspects. So, seeing as how long it took because of just how stubborn Sean was over a lawsuit, I can't even imagine how long it's going to take just to find "a happy middle ground" to split future profits. At this rate, will probably see F13 or, just simply Jason, as the anniversary chapter for year 8.
