Why do Killers always know when someone is in a Locker?

Oh so hiding in a Locker that's out of sight, too far to be heard, without leaving any blood pools or scratch marks, and not near something obvious like a gen, is wrong?
Gotcha.

I doubt 80% of player base are cheaters so yes it's your mistakes.

I'd love to see you do any better, because no matter how hard I try, I cannot see what I did wrong in those situations.

Got my fair share of survivors reloading at random lockers as Trickster.

Most common time I find survivors in lockers is by crows - they stay in the locker way too long and the crows stand on the locker, it's pretty easy to spot and I've pulled out quite a few survivors like that.

These gotta be newbies, i find it hard to believe that survivors who have quit some hours in this game still staying to long in the locker 😬
But tbh there is little that surprises me anymore in dbd 😅

I have found people like that before too, but I don't usually hide long enough for crows to land on the Locker, and if I do, then I exit the Locker.

So usually how I find them:
BBQ (or other tracking perks)
Crows
Scratch marks
Blood Pools
Noise
Just saw them going to that location before
Worked gen
Hatch nearby (not really valid anymore)

As previously said...
- I'm often in the Locker before that's able to trigger, or just too close.
- I never hide long enough to get crows.
- I don't run to the Locker.
- Has been the case sometimes, but there has also been times where the blood was already gone yet they still found me.
- Quick & Quiet.
- They've seen me before, but plenty of times they didn't, and in fact didn't even know anyone was in the area.
- I don't do it near gens like that.
- Who hides in Lockers near the Hatch?

You would be suprised how many survivors were waiting in locker in front of hatch, but possible anymore tho.
I didn't mean sound going into locker, you actually make sound while being inside, it's hard to hear, but if you have played Spirit a lot, you will notice it.
Scratch marks doesn't have to be directly to the locker, I just saw them in a way to shack, but noone was there, so I check lockers...

They're never close enough to the Locker to hear the breathing, as previously said. Either that, or I was injured with Iron Will, which renders you 100% silent.

I like to get in the locker at the last second so that the killer sees me get in it, and then get back out and watch the killer check from a few meters away. Works every time and it’s funny af
