We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

Does Jolt work while Thrilling Tremors is active?

Quick Explanation of the perks first.

Jolt - When a survivor is put into a dying state gens within 32 meters to lose 8% and continue to regress afterwards. Thrilling Tremors - When a survivor is picked up all generators that are not being repaired are blocked by the entity.

So is it possible for Jolt to continue to regress gens while Thrilling Tremors is active?

Let me know.

If the generator in range isn't blocked.

    No, it won't work.

Think of entiity blockers on gens as something that freezes them in time. Their state won't change until the blockers go away, e.g. no regression, no repairing, no damaging.

If the gen was regression when it got blocked, the process will resume upon unblocking.

When a survivor is downed within the range of a gen that is or was worked on, it explodes and starts regressing.

Untill it is touch by a survivor to stop the regresion, it will keep regressing even if the survivor is picked up which activates tremors to block it.

But ruin doesn't work on blocked gens despite regressing them.

    You sure?

I'm pretty sure that when ruin is up and say a survivor is downed at the other side of the map, you let go of the gen just before he gets picked up and blocks your gen it still continue to regress.

Yes but in a very specific way

Gens cannot regress while blocked but if they were regressing before they were blocked they will stay regressing when they become unblocked

so what will happen if you down a survivor with surge and instatly pick them up, the gens will all regress 8.75% (8% from the proc and .75% due to wipe animation), then the generators that aren't being worked on will be blocked for 16 seconds, then the gens that were regressing before being blocked will continue to regress but you won't gain an extra 4% regression while the gens are blocked

and if you happen to down someone with surge while thrilling tremors is active the blocked gens will regress 8% and when they are unblocked again continue to regress

At least with Deadlock that is the case, maybe Thrilling has different properties. I just assumed all blocked gens acted the same, not entirely sure, however.

If the survivor doesn't touch the generator after surge and before you block it with thrilling tremors, the generator won't regress while it's blocked, so the generator will start regresesing after the blocking effect from thrilling is gone.

If the survivor touches the generator after surge and you block the generator with thrilling, the generator won't start regressing no matter what.

It stops regressing when any gens are blocked. Reason being is to prevent extremely long and tiresome matches, it would be fun, but certainly OP

Jolt will damage a blocked generator and put it in regressing state. It won't regress while it's blocked but will once unblocked
