The Entities hand (Perk idea)

While in a chase you call upon the Entities hand to confuse your hunter.

Once in a chase press the Active Ability button while crouched to throw the Entities hand. This causes scratch marks to appear in the direction you are facing.

This effect can only be triggered once every 30/25/20 seconds.

I hate how in a chase your scratch marks give you away. As soon as you try and juke a killer the lack of scratch marks makes them check the area you were just in. So even if you lose LoS chances are you will just be found again. I have tried using diversion to do this but because it doesn't create scratch marks killers wont follow it. If you could just throw scratch marks in one direction then walk in the other direction it would confuse killers into losing you.

What do people think about the idea? Do you think it is stupid and I should just GIT GUD?

    Neither of those things help divert the killer from you. They just make your scratch marks disappear. So as soon as you use it once a good killer knows you have it.

    Buff pebble.

    I quite like your idea, but I think the cooldown is short. Dance With Me is 60/50/40, Dead Hard is essentially 60/50/40, and even Windows is 60/50/40. Diversion is basically 45 minimum.

    They don't want you extending chases/loops etc. endlessly without skill.

    I would be happy if pebble left scratch marks leading from to you the diversion site. I based my cool down off of the quick and quiet cool down.

    It wouldn't extend chases or loops my hope for this perk is as soon as you lose LoS to use it then the killer follows the scratch marks unless he is using a different method (sound of breathing or injury) to track you. Then that can end the chase.

    Edit: I wouldn't mind a longer cool down because I would use it to break chases and stealth again.

    Yeah, exactly. With a decent length cooldown, it's a fair suggestion. May get you out of a scrape, but if it doesn't work then you can't spam it until it does.

    you should rename it, since we dont even know weather the entity has hands or not. also, the touch of the entitus leaves glowing red burning marks on your body, how exactly do you expect this to work? activate the perk once, then start screaming and get full legacy clothing? xD

    besides that little flaw, i kinda like the idea, but 20 seconds seems too short, as this could really confuse the killer.
