Is this a bug or a cheat?

Experienced this around 4 times a least since the Witch dlc: I hit a survivor, hit them again and they don't go down! The hit connects along with the sound etc, but they just dart foward like they've taken an extra hit.

They didn't use any medi-kits or syringes and this is not Mettle Of Man. What's going on?

    I think there's something with Dead Hard and one of the recent updates where you see and hear the hit connect but Dead Hard negates the damage.

    Maybe I should just copy/paste my post as I figure it'll come up a lot...

    BHVR decided that playing as killer wasn't frustrating enough so they decided to add the broken hit validation from pallets to dead hard. So now instead of just getting "You idiots thought you hit the survivor just because we told you that you hit the survivor" fake-out hits on just pallets, now you can get them at any time the survivor is injured…

    Hit validation. It's a good thing but there's so many issues with it right now it just feels awful to play against.

    this is just annoying, like today i played ghost face and when i hit a survivor and they deadhard or throw a pallet at me they just dont go down u can hear the sound but its like nothing happend and they are fine. This either is a bug or hacks.
