We are investigating an issue in the game that causes strobing/flashing lights, and are focused on fixing it as soon as possible. Some players may be impacted by this issue and experience discomfort from it, so we recommend taking proper precautions.

And until we fix this issue, we recommend that players with photosensitivity, or who have an epileptic condition or have had seizures of any kind consult their physician before playing.

Gameplay aside, why can't killers kick gens after they've been repaired?

Why would the same techinique for breaking damaged machinery not work on repaired machinery?

Lore-wise, they're not real generators. They're facsimiles based on The Entity's understanding of harvested memories.

Quite a few bits of the physics-defying nonsense of this game fall through that gap.

Chalk it up to the difference between in-universe and in-game.

Easy answer would be that the entity blocks a completed gen during the trial, rather than at the end/because of perks, in-universe.

Part of whatever memory manipulation they undergo that allows them to understand the Trial's workings probably make it something that just doesn't cross their mind.

The gens create light once repaored fully, and since the Entity has an aversion to light it perhaps has no way of powering the killer to regress it. Also, it's a rule it has set itself, so perhaps in the sense of fairness it does not shift the goalposts, so to speak.
