Why isn't Tinkerer being nerfed to at least having a 30 seconds cooldown between activations?
This is basically stupid. Being able to show a killer endless amound of times if someone touched a kicked generator back while giving no terror-radius with no internal cooldown is a bit overkill.

At that point, why not just commit to a different gen? Lol. He clearly isn't committing to a chase if he just keeps coming back to kick it whenever you tap it. That benefits you greatly to keep trolling him.

How did you understood his problem? I think i need translator here.

Tinkerer reactivates as it goes above 70% if it regressed. He is complaining that there is no cooldown to Tinkerer activating and that the killer can essentially be permanently undetectable if he keeps proxy camping a generator that is close to completion.

Damn I'm sleepy. Ty for explaining. I was thinking about Trickster and it's Tinkerer....

Probably because its only problem on 2 killers

It doesn't have a cooldown because its activation is purely done by the survivors.
It wouldn't make any sense for it to have a cooldown while also being entirely controlled by the survivors.

The pro-move is to coordinate yourself so that multiple procs of Tinkerer happen within the same window. This reduces the overall time that the undetectable status lasts by a huge ammount and demoralizes the Killer, especialy if it happens during the first 3-5 minutes and even more if 3 gens trigger at the same time. The key is to use the perk against the Killer...

Why nerf a mediocre info perk that barely works on its own. I'm not saying it's not powerful with Gen regression perks but on its own it kinda sucks

It's triggered by survivors attemping their main objective. You can't avoid getting a gen to 70%.
Blight, Billy and to some extent Oni and Freddy can absolutely dominate with Tinkerer. A cooldown would balance their use of it much better, and for killers who don't have the mobility to instantly pressure a tinked gen, they probably won't notice the cooldown at all.

Tinkerer by itself isn't even a strong perk. When you play against high level survivors they will often pop the gen in your face if you even get there in time.

The fact is that Tinkerer makes the killer extremely predictable and it's quite easy to guess when it activates, it doesn't really need a cooldown.

I would rather activate only once for each gen, the amount of free information it provides right now is kind of ridiculous

Because Tinkerer is a perk that is totally in control of survivors when it is active. When you notice a killer has Tinkerer, repair a gen up to 70% and immediately walk away to hide. The killer will lose time searching the area and you buy time for the rest of your team. The problem is when survivors know the killer has Tinkerer and will comit like idiots to a gen.
