Tired of solo players.

They just copy their favourite streamers build (who plays a swf) and never run aura perks like kindred or bond. It is moronic and the single reason surviving as a solo survivor is difficult because multiple people run to the hook and waste time.

I know you can't tell people what to do, but it doesn't require much of a brain to understand that if you can't use third party tools to tell each other what to do and when to do it, that you should bring a perk to make the lack of info less punishing.

Some of the best games i have had were the ones where 2 or 3 had kindred, but it is so rare that it is depressing. I wish they would hurry up and make kindred base kit for solo players..

*started saying bond instead of kindred.

You're not wrong, but like you've said, we can't force people to run certain perks, especially when they absolutely need to make that YouTube video that'll hit those mad 40 views for getting a pallet stun and they just gotta run that Mr.Streamer build. I would absolutely love to see Kindred baseline, as it would not only help SoloQ, but also remedy the fact camping at 5 gens issue that seems to trouble everyone so deeply.

I have a different build on each of my survivors. One of them has Kindred, Bond, and Open Handed.

Typically, I can see when the killer is hard camping, soft camping, or making a BBQ bee-line, and can adjust my next play accordingly. The others can't (unless they also have Kindred and Bond).

    • Either multiple survivors waste time going to the hook and wait for the killer to leave, giving the killer free game slowdown, if not getting caught and hooked themselves,
    • Or they didn't use a locker to block BBQ and got caught on their gens and go down shortly after, giving the killer free momentum with more BBQ.

I manage to stay alive by blocking my aura with lockers and rescuing when it's safe and clear, meaning I usually last until the end of the game without being hooked, and can use Clairvoyance to find the Hatch anywhere on the map (within 80 meters). This isn't so easy when the other survivors begin to turn against me.

Sure, the survivors are a team of 4 and can choose to cooperate OR to look out for themselves, but the other survivors don't know that, or misinterpret its meaning. They want me to take aggro to "balance out" their mistakes and buy them time. If not, then "look out for themselves" becomes a license to grief and they treat the game like a battle royale (sometimes getting a free escape from the killer for doing so 😤).

I understand where you’re coming from, but it gets boring running the same perk(s) or builds over and over again.

Having Bond or Kindred basekit would indeed help.

I refuse to play if I don't have Kindred on a character. I feel downright useless and paralyzed with indecision as a solo player without it. It honestly kind of baffles me how fellow solo players can stand to play knowing that they're (potentially) being so damn inefficient with their time and actions...

Why BHVR doesnt grasp this is beyond my comprehension. Itd make killers like Pinhead 100x more fun to face solo

I often run bond and kindred and many times I use both, but I agree that more solos should run them they are great perks for us solo survivors.

Kindred is like my #1 perk right now

I can't play without it. Sadly that subjects me to the stupidity of my team mates because i get the privilege of seeing what they are doing every time someone is hooked. 😥

I always used kindred, Bond, BT and DH. I call this a "try to keep track of our average Solo team" build.

Now I use Mikaela's boons because why wouldn't I right?! And DH and BT.

I feel like Mikaela's healing makes it for the Tracking perks.

So add a few more people to your swf. Solo is fine if your playing above the sinkhole skill level.

That's me I'm those killers. I hate people who hide all game. You're literally making everyone else miserable by being a ######### teammate and making me look for you.

    LOL.. true

I don't like me being the one hooked and seeing all three other teammates healing themselves (like do they know that they can see each other)
