Hard cap blight's turn.

Why is this so difficult? Why is the amount blight can turn based on movement of the mouse to frame time? Why can't you, the dev's just programme a 50 degree window that he can freely move in while lunging?

I have had a couple of blights that are either using a macro or really going at it with the mouse to turn 180 while lunging and it is horrible to face. For those who don't know, if you constantly swipe with the mouse it resets the turn limit in a way and allows you to turn more than you should with blight (or just an insane dpi switch)

I am fine with hug tech, but being able to just 180 out in the open is not on.

The max you can turn is 90+ the extra rush turn mid lunge. Dpi only influences how fast you flick 90 now and nothing else. Also the "constantly swiping your mouse (z flick)" only works like 2% of what it was after they patched heli blight. Blight's really can't true 180 flick anymore out in the open. They technically can with adrenaline vial but the most of a flick you can get is like 110 degrees.

Yeah I couldn’t agree more. Blight should always be the same, no matter what platform you’re playing on. As survivor, you never know what he’s able to because of the exploits.

Then why am i seeing it happen? 2 games the blight started the lunge on one side of a log loop and just lunged around the end of it to hit the survivor on the other side. he did not face the log to do a hug tech. The last game i played i ran past the blight and the next thing i know he flipped around and hit me out in the open.

Well that's either because of lag where on his end he hit you with the massive hitbox of the rush then turned around. But I can't make a correct assumption without seeing it in a video. Also you dont have to fully face a log to get more than 90 degrees. Or it could be something that might be on the rise. I also noticed it's sometimes hard to notice if a blight turns into an object until he's fully facing it since he goes so fast.

I'm really not enjoying Blight anymore on both fronts. It feels absolutely ludicrous some of the curves and flicks he can do. It feel like the notion of calculating your slams and getting the right angles doesn't matter when you can just do mega flicks around walls. Not necessarily 180's mind you, though that was just complete abuse of exploits and not possible, but those absurd flicks that leave little to work with. He's already very strong with his counter to W and overwhelming map presence, but he also gets ludicrous hits everywhere? Ugh. The fact that I can win most matches with half that arsenal says a lot.

I feel like facing Blights is less about factoring in your environment and your position, and more so hoping they mess up their flick or get disoriented by some stupid spin attempt. Otherwise I feel like their flicks when lunging are faaaaar too generous. I wouldn't be against stricter gameplay, though I'd hate to see him gutted. He's still plenty fun, but he could use actual weaknesses that aren't ######### collision/map design.

His addons are also stupid but that's another discussion, though it adds to the shitshow that is how his power is used by better players.

I have nightmares against Blight players. But ever since my mmr went to ######### after barely escaping now, I don't see them too often, thank goodness.

Slide tech is very tough to pull off and use in the right situations. If you get hit by it, learn from it.
