Spirit mains are setting their sound at 100 to hear you breath while being in a chase
Just happened to me yesterday and the killer had no add ons for Killer Instinct/perks to track me. I was getting chased and was walking away and she knew where I was because she could her Claire breath. Do other Spirit mains also do this and shake their head everytime when someone gets downed?

Is this a joke?

????

It’s possible to use breathing to track as any killer. Spirit just benefits the most from it

I mean I have my volume on 100 and the best I could hear are grass rustling. Very hard to hear breathing and even more on chases since music is loud AF. It's either really good headset or his experience playing that killer judged that's the most likely place you could have walked to since you get a lot of survivor trying the walking away strategy lol.

Lol

Local spirit main has ears

You cant hear anything with the new chase music. Footsteps are barely audible, imagine trying to hear breathing lol

I do this as Demogorgon. Getting my ears blasted everytime I hit someone is satisfying
6 -
Yeah because increasing the overall volume apparently only makes breathing louder.

I've heard, and you might want to sit down for this one, that, no I mean it, this is serious, that some players even use headphones! Gosh, there's no stopping a cheater these days.

How low will these spirit mains stoop to win? Using their ears to hear survivors breathing should be bannable as it is borderline cheating. And shaking their head? Instantly banned for toxic bming. Only survivors are allowed to do that after all.
6 -
Ha, jokes on you, I use 75%.

Remove the ear canals of all spirit mains. We need balance.
Fill their ears with puss.
Eugh

The audacity.

I wear headphones with the volume up for every killer. Sound is a critical part of being a good killer, not just for Spirit.

Did you know Meg is a mouth breather?

People really won’t be satisfied until she’s actually gutted.
4 -
just like Samination's Wraith said:
"You people are never satisfied".

I can always hear her breathe from 10 meters away, you can’t hide with her.

Darn next post is gonna be: Killer player uses his hands to control his mouse to hit me.
6 -
In his brain probably yes

Survivors play at normal sound and hear the killer from 32 meters away, how is that fair?
1 -
No <bleep> because they were not satisfied with her nerf that good players to work around.....

Are you actually serious right now?

No, how dare Killers adjust their gameplay. Survivors need to be able to loop around stuff brainlessly and camp/drop every pallet, combined with the occasional (very skillful) W and E clicking.

Well I like to play Spirit alone and quit while I can speak to friends over at discord while playing Hillbilly, Bubba or Cenobite. Spirit just gets so much better once you use sound to point out a direction and breathing is an important part of that. Why skip this advantage?

Half the reason I play Plague is because I don't have to see a survivor to track them and they can't Iron Will me. My eyes are crap; I use sound most of the time anyway.
Try playing killer - you'll realize just how vital those injured sounds and footsteps are to gameplay.

Just add the bot killers and make killers unplayable.

As a Spirit main, I have to apologize for using decent headphones so I can hear the game. It’s honestly despicable of me to do so and from now on I will turn my sound from 48% down to 4% and I will go out and buy some $4 headphones from Etsy to use during play. I’m so sorry for my disrespect and I hope you can forgive me for my heinous crimes,
Signed, ManOMaker.

Have you tried holding your breath? Sometimes at beginning of a match when the killer heads over to my swf teammate he goes silent on chat because he's holding his breath in real life so the killer doesn't hear him. Seems to work. You should try it next time. It's like when you play killer if you lunge forward in real life you're more likely to successfully hit the survivor.

Yes

The real joke is when you have audiophile headphones running through an amplifier and still can't hear the uninjured breathing because the audio mix is so inconsistent.
