Losing Stealth in DBD
While the killers that have come out in recent times have been somewhat fine (love the Artist that's coming out by the way) I find that they are in some ways lacking in originality to make their own mark on the game. One aspect that I would like to go over is the lack of a new stealth killer or some way to update stealth mechanics or play a true stealth style in DBD either as killer or survivor. Ironic considering that in an asymmetrical game themed on horror that people actually don't fear being caught as much as they should.
DBD now tends to release killers that are fine by their own merits but don't do anything for stealth or stealth gameplay. In fact the last killer even focused around stealth was Ghostface that came out in June 2019. 10 killers have been created since then and not one focused on bringing a true stealth mechanic to the game.
I wish for the future for a new stealth killer that can actually bring some fright and thrills back into the game, for example have a killer that can travel through the ground and walls or one that can create illusions that actually do something (sorry Doctor mains). Well we can wish anyway.

One can argue that Mr Cowboy was designed around stealth, but yea, it would be nice to have another actual Mr Sneaky killer. It's probably just really difficult to come up with a power for stealth that won't just be another rehash of "stare at the survivor" and activate your power.

Deathslinger was stealthy but not anymore since they increased his TR and it would be nice to reward a bit of an alternative playstyle for survivors as well with perks that give benefits for not being in the killer's proximity.

They probably know how weak stealth killers are in this game. The only decent one is Ghostie and he gets neutered very easily by some teams and maps. Wraith is kind of good but NOT because of his stealth.

Very true I just wish there were some feasible way to implement stealth mechanics or have a stealthy killer that is actually lethal. There are ways to do that without breaking the game currently.
