Sometimes I wish P2P is back
You can type all your reasons why P2P is bad and I'm sure that's true but I just want the good times where I can accurately judge a lunge if it would hit or not without having to bring Vault speed builds.

On some games, yes.
On other games, p2p would have people seemingly teleporting around the map.
The main things that need to happen is the 'fake hit' bugs to be fixed and probably some sort of adjustment on Dead Hard, it was meta before the fix, and the fix amounted to quite a significant buff. It's just too safe and powerful for something with such a titchy exhaustion cooldown.

I don't miss it
Console players tend to have ######### internet I don't miss those days

What he said. For some reason a lot of console players play on wi-fi.

You people would plug Ether net cords into your bodies if you could. Not all of us live next to the router

I already did and I walk without teleporting everywhere.

I agree DH "fix" is more of a buff than anything else. It's more forgiving for survivors than it is for Killers....and now I'm finding Pallet Validation and Grab Validation issues.
I try to grab a person off a Gen and I actually get the animation for it but it counts as a hit and they run off but I'm stuck in the grab animation.

HAH!
I play on Wi-Fi. Never had any issues. Very occasional stutter.

It's funny to see this thread now of all times. This DDOS scare that people are freaking out about atm was something that was always possible during the P2P days.
At this point, I don't really miss P2P anymore. Both it and dedicated servers have their own sets of headaches, and while there are some things I still hate about dedicated servers, there's also a lot I don't miss about P2P.

Also gotta remember lagswitching was extremely common with p2p

And that's the #1 thing I don't miss about P2P. :)
