Thank you for Plague buff
Since yesterday I tried the new Plague, and I think I found my new killer.
Before the buff I was struggling infecting good survivors, now with the Prayer Tablet brown addon this problem is solve.
Sometimes I though it was hard to have a good map pressure, now I can control everything on the map.
I played maybe 10 or 20 games and I only lost one.
For the first time I think I can compete against swf.
My mmr went higher, the survivors better and better, but... Im unstoppable ?!
I used Tinkerer, Thanato, Pop, Corrupt, my Plague is P0 lvl50 I just took what I had. But its working well.
Im in love with the new plague, the new brown addon and the new skin.
Good loopers can do nothing, I get sooo easy down everybody injured and if they cleansed, its worse for them. The one team that beat me was not cleansing at all and it works.
So thank you Behaviour, new Plague is so funny and so good. Playing killer never felt this fun before.

After her changes she does feel a lot better to play as and she hard counters all the boon players. I don't have many perks but I've been running BBQ, Corrupt, endurance, spirit fury and mostly the meme at add on.
She ignores boons and pallets what more you want?

Once I got done draining the 'soon to be nerfed' Cenobite addons, I went back to Plague and yeah. Wow. She's really really strong. Creeping up on 'S' tier probably, at least a solid 'A'.
Despite her being strong, there is still tons of room for survivors to outplay me.
Her addons are brilliant, nearly all are worth using and a few create entirely new gameplay styles.
I hope that, moving forward, BHVR take Plague as the template for how killers and addons should feel. Imagine if Pig, Legion, Ghostface, PH or Slinger got a Plague level rework. I'd be so damn happy.

So between 60-80 survs lost. From a killer perspective she is balanced then

Yeah, prayer tablet Plague is dope. I'm in love tbh.
As somebody who cut their teeth on Legion, I dont mind having "no power". My built in Iron Will counter is enough for me to go on.

Yeah the survivors dont know what to do, they are infected so fast and they cleansed. Then the massacre can begin 😈

Plague is a top 5 killer now. Probably the top of A tier now that boons hard counter Hag, Oni and Twins.

I've been a Plague main for years, and to be honest, I don't even think she's that much better. The cooldown reduction makes her a bit smoother to play which is excellent, and the ability to tap right click to infect a gen without cancelling the power at minimum charge is an awesome QoL change, but in terms of strength I don't think she's actually gone up all that much, she was always pretty damn strong.
I think she just feels so much better at the moment because every other killer is facing even more constant pressure from boons, and she largely gets to ignore the worst of it.

And what do you think of the new brown prayer tablet ? I use it with Corrupt, I think its really nice to control generators

I haven't actually used it. TBH I don't see it as a game changer one way or the other, I generally play her without add ons and can't say I have much of an issue getting people infected early, and I play for the late game as Plague anyway. I've seen it used and it certainly can get people infected, but I can't say I'd find it very satisfying to not be able to puke on people in a chase and have it affect them. And I know it can break people pretty quickly on gens, but I don't see very many situations where a survivor sits on an infected gen and doesn't break quickly anyway.
Outside of that, people still are really against cleansing, so even when it's effective it tends to do nothing the default power doesn't do after the first minute or so anyway, but that's an issue with most of her add ons.

Because Ive played against team that tried to wait my Corrupt and my infected generators but with this addon its just not good. They can wait very long so they touched an infected generator or they loose the game.
For me the best with this addon is the map pressure. I know exactly where they are. I know when to chase and when to come back to a generator.
You cant vomit on survivors in chase but I have the feeling that survivors think to counter this addon they should cleanse.
I never had so much red vomit since Im using this addon its beautiful.

Yes, but it's not like it unlocks the ability to infect gens, you can do that anyway. I quite often get into 3 gen situations with Plague and keeping them all infected is never really a concern. Especially later in the game because as they lose pallets, chases with broken people become really fast and easy.

Yeah sure but do you think without the addon you can infect the 7 generators at the same time ?

You probably could, but I don't see it realistically progressing you in the game any more than infecting a couple in key places and then getting a fast down.

The Plague rework is one of the few unambiguously 'great job BHVR' moments. She's just fantastic now - strong, adaptable, good addons that totally change the way you play, but still has room to be outplayed by survivors.
That said...
Looking at the Pig 'rework', I wouldn't hold your breath.
I am hopeful though. Will have to see what they do with the upcoming Ghostface rework.

I like Pig rework, I dont play her but saw some videos and played against good ones, she is more fun to play against I think

she is the only killer playable now vs all the boons, her power counters both shadowstep and mainly coh

There is a brown addon that makes it so that you can only infect objects, but it lasts longer (and gives a very generous BP bonus, which helps Plague as her standard style has trouble maxing BP gains). Add on another addon for longer infections, or faster infection rates from objects, and you've got a very different style. Basically - infect all the gens.
It's actually quite strong.
She's definitely the hardest CoH counter.
That said, strong chase killers who can reliably turn a hit into a hook (Nemesis, PH, Cenobite (somewhat) etc.) can do quite well. As can instadown killers.
On attrition based killers (Hag, Wraith) you sort of have to run either instadown-focused builds (DH, NOED), crazy unga-bunga builds (STBFL, anti pallet perks) or Plaything+Retribution.
