Does anyone mind
That devs idea of the 50% escapes 50% kills?
In my personal opinion is the killer was more skilled than us he deserve a 3k or even 4k.

They can aim for that if they want to.

Numbers mean nothing without context.
I support the general idea, but not the execution of following it blindly like a robot

Numbers are just numbers. And if we give every number the same value it can become an unbalanced dataset.
Should a ruthless killer have the same chance to get 50% as 4 "defenseless" survivors?
Should someone who can kill people have more power than someone who can't?

If we have 100 000 games a day and we have 80 000 survivors and 20 000 killers:
do you distribute the amount of 50% to 50 000
or 40 000 and 10 000? And I want you to think about that answer.
Now if you have your answer, whatever it is, doesn't matter for the next point:
now imagine how you would include RNG like maps, tiles, perks (yes RNG in perks and perks themself, as they are basically RNG from your perspective, on both sides), even the skill level.
how can you scale that to 50%?
What about the hatch, dc, trolling, farming, etc.? What about someone who lets people win. Like I said in another post. This stuff needs a data set we don't have, and an answer would need to see numbers that actually matter. And this data set is too big for BHVR to handle, no offense here. There's barely any company that has the possibility to set up such a data set for tweaking

If the killer is skilled enough they'll get the 3/4k games. However in the same argument, if the survivors are skilled enough then they should get a 3/4 man escape.
50/50 seems to be the fairest way to balance things.

We shouldn't be balancing around kills period. It's heavily flawed.

Balancing around the most commons result being 1-3 kills is fine.
Balancing solely around 2 kills being the average statistical result can be more problematic since the average could be the result of almost all the matches being either 0 kills or 4 kills with few matches in between.
My impression is the devs are trying to balance the game toward the former, i.e. that most matches end with 1-3 kills, and aren’t just looking at the average number and calling it a day. But that’s just how I see it. 🤷♂️

I don't mind the idea of it being 50/50 but it's clearly not heading in that direction even if that's what they want.
