Why does every Michael run fragrant tuft of hair ?
To be honest I don't think that addon is that good because survivors can just stay injured.

-No longer have to stalk or worry about 99'ing.
-Instadowns for the rest of the match. This tends to get people to throw pallets quicker as well.
-Faster vaulting for the rest of the match
-Easier to patrol or camp hooks.
-Not many other choices for good add-ons. Stalking, duration, mirrors, and tombstone. Mirrors are for memes while tombstone is hit or miss. Faster stalking is the best, while stalking effects like aura or speed are almost worthless. Tuft of hair is the most potent of the duration add-ons. I'd argue hair bow would be more useful against good teams though.
-Matches well with certain perks like infectious/distressing.
-You also get a longer lunge for the rest of the match compared to t1 and t2. This lunge is also longer than than the standard killer lunge.

Survivors deciding to just stay injured is fine by me, though. And also, they are rarely smart enough to do that regardless. They brought a boon and by the elder gods, they will use it!

Because it is a busted Add-On on a Killer who is not really that good. They changed a bit on Myers quite recently, however, it did not really lift him up and busted Add-Ons like Fragrant Tuft and Tombstone Piece are still around.

Because I want to combine it with Bamboozle and Fire up and Coup so I have stupid Omega Vaults and lunges

It’s one of the many reasons I hate facing Michael. I hope they’re able to give him a rework that makes him stronger but still connected to the OG stalking. So this add-on can hopefully be tossed into the abyss

Removes the strategy from his build, no worries about just endlessly stalking people.

"I hate that Michael has an addon that lets him compete with the turbo survivor meta. Please slow him down so my games are easy again."

Well, it's not a good add-on at all, you're right about that. It removes Myers' ability to catch survivors off guard with his low TR in tier 2 and makes it more difficult to down survivors, and removes game slowdown from survivors healing each other. Not to mention it takes 10 years to get to tier 3.
I would assume they use it because it makes him easier to play as? It's a bit more difficult to catch survivors off guard in tier 2 compared to having free tier 3 all game. I guess if you just wanna turn your brain off and run around with a knife and instadown everyone, it can be pretty fun, but infinite tier 3 Michael is definitely weaker nonetheless.

Disliking an add-on because it's boring to go against ≠ Thinking the add-on is too powerful
The add-on is pretty bad anyways, it hinders Myers because it makes him take longer to get to tier 3, and good survivors will hold W against it because they'll know when he's coming.

Because being able to run out of his power by people dying in the wrong order is potato? Being stuck at M2 is reduced terror radius and sliiiiiightly faster vaults.
That's kind of... nothing at all?

As a survivor I have mixed feelings; obviously you are one hit down, but the part of Myers I hate going against is getting grabbed or having the ######### generally scared out of me. I'm almost relieved when he goes into tier 3 because then I can track him, at least.
Using Myers w/fragrant tuft is a kick every once in a while, but also takes a lot of the fun of scaring survivors out of the gameplay. Also it's great holding and popping tier 3 at the perfect time and practically hearing the survivor player poop themselves.
I had a recent game where I was chasing a healthy survivor toward the open exit gate and as we got close they started BMing me, not knowing I had tier 3 99ed, and I got them just short of escape. For me the essence of Myers is surprise, and you get none of that when you're in tier 3 all game.
I agree that Myers is underpowered, but I think the buff he need and deserves is to his stalk/ambush game.

Bigger question. Why are Michael's running NOED?! I mean....manage your powers bro.
(Barring Scratch Mirror)

Fragrant Tuft of Hair is more of a hinderance against good survivors. Survivors who know how to loop can keep you from getting tier 3 and are often observant enough to catch Michael trying to sneak in some stalk and get behind objects/walls.

It punishes bad survivors pretty heavily but is pretty terrible if you're against actually decent survivors.

Hey I main Mikey and never use it. I prefer to use double stalk speed add ons or one for stalk speed and one for tier 3 duration like hair bow.

Forcing survivors to stay injured so they're easier to track via blood trails, longer lunge, 33% faster vault, better unhook pressure. Pretty good still

You didn't mention that EW tier III gives you a largest lunge compared to EW I and II.

It's fun when you get a group of survivors who want to bully Micheal. A bit of taunting and now you're in Tier III all match and the survivors have barely started a gen. Other than that, Scratched Mirror is a lot more fun.

I forgot about that actually, thanks. I have updated my post.

Tier four evil within

Honestly fragrant tuft isn’t too OP imo unless he camps. Then there is nothing you can do.
Tombstone piece is dumb though

Is there a reason you just assumed I’m a survivor main who thinks Myers should be gutted? Apparently you didn’t read the part where I said only after they give him a rework that makes his power stronger.

Because it's fun messing with Mikarlas

It's a noob-stomper addon.

Possibly because he's the only instadown killer that can run out of his power for reasons never explained. Imagine if Bubba's chainsaw stopped working after X uses.

Probably for the speed boost

I don't.
