Does anybody uses keys still?
After the changes for the key, I feel keys were made almost completely useless, and I have a buch of keys that I just won't use cause I don't see the point.
Does anybody still uses them? And, do they still help at least a little?
Sometimes I feel they should have just eliminated keys all together and come up with some new item with a different functionality.

pretty much useless. nerfed harder than moris - at least moris allow you to avoid DS on survs' second hook.

I still see people load into games with keys, but now that keys function in a way that makes sense people who bring them in aren't usually the ones who get to use them.

Key are useless now the only use out of them is if all other survivor are dead and the killer close the hatch you can still escape.
So its a dead item all game unless you have aura addon but can give you an escape when all hope is lost

Keys are still good. You have wall hacks the entire game.

I only use keys for challenges, but that's about it. Keys are now so situational that they're really not worth bringing into a match (or their item rarity, for that matter).

I used to run chest looting builds for clutch RNG key plays in games, but that was about it before.
Now that's dead soooo, nope.

It works for like 20 seconds lmao. The blood amber add on makes you use charges much faster.

Considering all the nerfs that Killers have been given lately, the changes to keys is a welcome sight to see. The fact that you can only use a key if you are the last survivor left in a match is a welcome change. No longer are you seeing two to three survivors escaping through a hatch.

Keys are easily the most worthless survivor item now, but they still have a few nice addons. Do the addons merit bringing them in over something like a medkit or toolbox? No. But they can be an improvement over nothing, I guess.
Mostly they joined moris in the 'nerfed to death' trash can.

I don't know why anyone would want wall hacks on the killer over a strong medkit.
Broken Key needs to be removed from chest loot tables altogether and or keys need to be reworked somehow. They're pretty useless and encourage bad playstyles to go for the Hatch with them. And even in that regard they are quite bad.

I see keys in my lobbies sometimes. And I'm glad it nerfed. As killer you had to worry they escape together without opening gates or even repairing all gens which felt unfair and undeserved. As survivor it meant killer will bring everything he has to eliminate the team in worst and fastest possible way.

Yeah I'm gonna waste a perk and wait in a locker for 12 seconds 3 different times so I can get a few more seconds of aura reading.

Then you don't look at Add ons properly

Go use Prayer beads lol and you're not supposed to use it for the entirety of the chase. You're only used it for like a second for information on tiles or in general.

Then go use a Medkit? I don't know why Survivors want the best of the best just to for an item or perk to be usable? Keys are good
