HACKER SOMEHOW JOINS A LOBBY WITH CROSSPLAY TURNED OFF PS5
I turned off crossplay because I was sick of facing PC players and I came across 1 dude that had a crossplay symbol and he gave his team mate that was on PS5 a green flashlight that blinded me for 12 seconds. I was playing deathslinger on THE GAME map and after I noticed the hack I checked after the match if he had any flashlight add ons. He was using 2 battery add ons and he was also using a regular green flashlight. But in game he had a anniversary flashlight? How the hell did he manage to bring 1 person from another platform while crossplay was turned off? Is this a new hack or something?

Hackers could always get into console games, even before crossplay was a thing. Before crossplay you'd get Legacy cosmetic characters, usually Legacy Nurse, that hacked into console games. Wasn't often but it'd happen. With hacker rise in DBD we are just seeing them way more often.
This post has video clips of hackers in console crossplay off matches.

We all connect to the same set of servers, turning off crossplay just limits who you can matchmake with. If you have an exploit that lets you send bad information to the server, why wouldn't they just be able to say to the server "Nah, I'm actually on a PS5 put me in a PS5 lobby only".
I had a hacker show up in the survivor lobby as Freddy, he told us, in the pre-game lobby chat, we were facing a Doctor and that he was a new Doctor. Sure enough when the game failed to load because the killer disconnected before the game started, it was a Doctor with yellow perks. Before you ask, I was in a 3 man-swf and we stayed in the lobby for the laughs.
Easy Anti-cheat needs to up their game, but hackers will always find a way, because someone is always willing to pay money to have cheats.
