Did they remove the acceleration after the Billy's Chainsaw Sprint (with double engravings) ?
Originally, there was a specification for acceleration afterthe Billy's Chainsaw Sprint (with double engravings) , and There were many techniques that took advantage of that acceleration. But since the 5.4.0 update, that acceleration seems to be gone.
It's a little hard to tell, but the one on the right side of the video is slower to get to the locker.
There was no mention of this in the patch notes. Is it a bug?😥

I believe the acceleration after the chainsaw sprint with the engravings was a bug that was fixed recently.

Well that sucks, it was one of the few things saving Billy, it should have been left as a feature.

This acceleration has existed for over 5 years. If they fixed it, I wish they would have at least mentioned it in the patch notes...😰 I like to meet Billy. Please don't reduce Billy any further...

I guess it's more important for BHVR to change stuff like this that no one asked about than fixing Billy's buggy animations which have been there for ALMOST 2 YEARS and people have reported that many times already.
Man, i wonder why no one wants to plays Billy these days considering he's also free with the base game...

That adds a massive amount of punishment for merely using your chainsaw and is effectively a SUPER hard nerf on using billy's power mid chase in a risky and high skill way. One that's already insanely punished unless you're willing to dedicate nearly hundreds, if not thousands of hours to play effectively.
Is there a dialogue that can be opened here about options that can be taken? Without some change to compensate for the bugfix's nerf, it's leaving an entire playstyle of billy high and dry.

I think so too. This adjustment is a hard nerf for people who use Billy a lot. I'm also concerned about the fact that the acceleration that has been there since the game was first implemented is now being chalked up to a bug and being fixed silently.
I'd like to see some sort of buff adjustment, but I'd like to see acceleration restored to what it was in the first place...
