Chapter Concept: When Death Tolls
New Killer: The Reaper
Appearance: A tall, thin and pale man in a black and scarlet cloak. Weapon is a scythe duh.
Speed: 115% (4.6 m/s)
Terror Radius: 32 meters
Height: Tall
Primary Power: Soul Taker
Soul Taker starts with 2 charges, with additional charges being gained after hooking a Survivor. Holding m2 will start Soul Taker and remove a charge, with the Reaper slowing down to 80% speed and holding up his scythe for 1.5 seconds before rushing forwards. The rush has a max range of 24 meters, with the Reaper moving at 185% speed. Turning is incredibly restricted while using Soul Taker. The Reaper can cancel Soul Taker by letting go of m2.
When a Survivor is hit by Soul Taker, they will be immediately downed regardless of health state. If a Survivor with Endurance is hit, they will be put into Deep Wounds instead. While using Soul Taker, the Reaper can go through walls, though each time this is done the range of Soul Taker is decreased by 4 meters.
While charging Soul Taker, the Reaper's terror radius slowly drops to 0, with this effect lasting until the ability is cancelled.
The Reaper is locked in a 3 second animation after hitting a Survivor, during which he moves at 95% speed. If no Survivor is hit, the Reaper is locked in a 2 second animation and is slowed to 80% speed until it ends.
Secondary Power: Last Chime
Last Chime can be used by holding CTRL for 3 seconds, during which the Reaper slows to 75% speed. After Last Chime is used, all injured Survivors will hear what sounds like a distant bell chiming 12 times total, 1 chime each second. This muffles the Reaper's terror radius.
In addition to that, all Survivors that are healing or being healed within 24 meters of the Reaper will be Exposed for the next 30 seconds.
Add-ons
- Increases the base charge count of Soul Taker by 1.
- Increases the charge speed of Soul Taker by 0.15/0.25 seconds.
- Increases speed while charging Soul Taker by 5/8/10%.
- Increases the speed of Soul Taker by 8/12/16% for each wall passed through during its use.
- The terror radius change from Soul Taker lasts 2/4/6 seconds longer after it ends.
- Decreases the cooldown of Soul Taker by 15/20/25%.
- Decreases the start up time of Last Chime by 0.25/0.33/0.41 seconds.
- Increases the time in between each chime caused by Last Chime by 2.5/3.25/4 seconds (has the effect of dragging out the muffling effect).
Iridescent Add-ons
Iridescent Bell - Survivors that can hear the bell after the use of Last Chime have their auras revealed until they can no longer hear the bell.
Shattered Visage - Survivors hit by Soul Taker are Broken for the remainder of the match. Soul Taker can no longer go through walls. Soul Taker charges 0.6 seconds faster. Last Chime's Expose range is reduced to 16 meters. The Reaper starts with 0 charges of Soul Taker. This does not stack.
Perks
King of Kings
You're the one who rules this world.
For each Injured Survivor, you can see the aura of a healthy Survivor within 20/28/36 meters of yourself who's not currently in a chase (up to 1/2/3 Survivors if tied).
Scourge Hook: Equalizer
It is your role to enforce equality in death.
At the start of a Trial, 4 random hooks are changed into Scourge Hooks. The auras of Scourge Hooks are revealed to you in white. When a Survivor is hooked on a Scourge Hook, all injured Survivors scream, revealing their location for 4/5/6 seconds. If a Survivor doesn't scream, they're Exposed for 60 seconds.
Hex: Cold Command
While this Hex remains standing, all healthy Survivors have their altruistic action speeds reduced by 33%. If a Survivor is healed while within 24/28/32 meters of this Totem, they're Incapacitated for 20 seconds, also this Totem is blocked by the entity for 60 seconds.
