Help with Spirit
Other thread made me realize what my problem with spirit is, and why I play her so much less than I used to. There's only one build I have any success with!
Usually, I can look away, use spirits power and 180 towards something, and 7/10 the survivors have still managed to scatter and hide. Shadowstep compounds this. Her small amount of time in Spirit Land does as well. To counter this, I run the following.
Addons: Mother Daughter Ring, Dried Cherry Blossom.
Perks: Lethal Pursuer, whatever I feel like I need for a challenge etc.
The idea is to use both items that remove scratchmarks to minimize that penalty. MD ring adds the speed I feel should be baseline for her and makes up for her crappy power duration. DCB is how I find survivors. I just yeet into the generator or the nearest cover areas and swing on the KI prompt.
My problem is outside of having these two items, I'm lucky to get 1 kill a match with her against skilled survivors. What other perks / addons ons (especially these) can mitigate her lackluster power? I feel like she's just a worse wraith without the above 3 items of Lethal Pursuer, MD Ring, and DCB.

She’s definitely not a worse Wraith. She moves faster and doesn’t have to spend time uncloaking.
Also in terms of add ons, the two you mentioned are her best but you don’t need them if you’re good with her. Short bursts is and always how you should be playing with her at loops. You can’t mindgame god pallets but if you just kick the pallet, you move so fast that you catch up to them before they make another loop anyway.

Wraith is faster than, cloaked as long as he likes, and his uncloak timer is comparable to her spirit world entrance timer. For a killer who wants to be unseen, I think Wraith does a much better job. Especially with his ability to get KI and no bell sound from his uncloaks. Before her wind woosh, I would have agreed with you.

You can still clearly see Wraith while he’s cloaked though. You still can’t see Spirit and she’s still unpredictable unless you as a player make her predictable. Also Spirit moves 176% and Wraith moves 150% iirc.

Not trying to debate on whose worse, Wraith or Spirit.
