First ever post, not quite sure which section it belongs in. PS: It’s a rant

So I’m a Switch player (rip me ig lol) and my old Switch was BUSTED (there was a big crack going down the back among other small deformities that my little brother caused back when I had to share with him in his rage-filled Fortnite days. He got the new one, I got the one he destroyed) Anyway, so I finally got a new one yesterday. I transfer my account, log in to DBD, see that Leon is still there and say to myself “great everything is there” and then proceed to download my other games. Flash forward to an hour ago, I log in to play the new event and notice that Laurie, Steve, and Nancy aren’t there. I freak out and realize that I need to go redownload the DLCs in the Nintendo store (since I bought Leon with cells he got to stick around)…..you all probably know where this is going: I lost Steve, Jonathan, Nancy, and good boy Demo forever……along with Scoops Ahoy and the Ugly Sweater outfits. It ruined my whole day. The DLC isn’t in the store anymore so I can’t redownload it. I can’t even revert to my old Switch. Steve was my main, he was level 50 prestige 3 with a bunch of cosmetics that I bought during the sale as a birthday present to myself. And now he’s gone. I know there’s nothing that I or anyone else can do (unless Netflix wants to resign the deal real quick so I can redownload lmao) so I just wanted to rant to people who would understand since I only have like one friend who plays DBD. A moment of silence for my Steve and all the cosmetics that vanished into the Entity.


TL;DR: Steve main who got a new Switch, transferred my account, needed to redownload DLCs from the store, lost Stranger Things DLC forever, now I’m bummed
