Some of you make it very hard to be nice.
Been queing up giving out 4 man snowman escapes all night but keep running into people intentionally trying to be obnoxious.
This is why no one treats survivors nice during events, too many douche bags that make you regret it.
Ugh, at least some of you were appreciative and actually had fun with me rather than trying to be toxic when I'm obviously not playing to win.

Same goes for killers camping people with the sparkles. People are just douches during events and I don’t know why

Doesnt matter because you get cosmetics once you have sparkles, escape or not.
But there are some killers that will do anything just not to hit you in snowman to deny you sparkles. Luckily thats maybe just 10% of my games so far

This sadly happens in every multiplayer game, some people just play to ruin other players' fun.
From people spawn camping new players and low levels in WoW back in the days to these players who refuse to participate to the normal gameplay just to deny other people's unlocks.
Luckily not everyone is like that, don't let these players ruin your day.

That’s true actually. I was thinking about the anniversary event where that also happened. Fact is people are just annoying during events regardless of the side they play

Unfortunately, this happens on both sides. I think people need to remember that not everyone is toxic. Most people just want to enjoy the game... I've met so many great people during this event (this is the most fun I've had in a while).

And yesterday I had a Bubba inisidous basement camp 2 survivors and then slug me and the second survivor on the floor until we bled out, without haven't done a single bad thing to him, but you don't see me complaining about killer toxicity on the forum???
Both sides have jerks, the best thing you can do is just ignore it and move onto the next game. If you give them a reaction, then you give these people exactly what they want.

Sometimes people just need to vent and the forums are the best place. Everyone handles the stress of the game differently. I for one won't complain....unless it's about......ACE........All ACE players will be put into a special little place in my heart......TO WATCH THE LIFE LEAVE THIER EYES HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGAGA...........*coughs* Ummm what was I saying just now.....

Funny thing is, sparkling survivors get their cosmetic or charm nevertheless. So the joke is on the killer.

And that's why I really like the decision of the devs to reward a survivor their reward, no matter if they die. I really would like if they do the same thing towards the anniversary events, so people don't have to try hard for their escape and just can have fun and maybe farm a bit more when there are a lot of cakes burned.

I mean you we can always balance the game, because playing fair right now feels punishable. And playing like a ######### is very rewardable.

I'm pretty sure they think it's like the anniversary event and they can deny the survivor their reward. Kind of like during Halloween when they'd camp the event gen just to deny survivors event BP. Events just bring out the worst in people, probably because they enjoy trying to make others miserable.
Agreed. I really like that everyone gets reward and that it doesn't matter if you live or die. It's so much more enjoyable playing this event.

Or you can mess around with nice survivors and kill the toxic ones. Works for me and keeps my mmr low.

if you have played more than 15 minutes on both sides you should know both sides have there lames.

I'm really hoping this is a trend we can expect to see in the future. It's super healthy event design. I was pretty stressed solo queueing during the anniversary event and a lot of the crowns came from friendly killers - participation that takes some interaction with an event mechanic but doesn't require you to 'win' is a great idea.

I stopped being nice to survivors. I wanted to help survivors by letting them escape with particles and then they are still teabagging and putting hateful messages in the chat. I was like, i could have just killed you but i dropped you at the gate to help you...

Yesterday I've got insulted on chat and tbagged on exit gate, while I could have finished the game with 3 gens.
And when i played survivor my teammates (a 3 man SWF) did the same to a Wraith and he was just memeing around with the snowmans, the whole game.

I don’t get why people like you act like it’s just one side that has douches. I ran into a couple killers that camped and tunneled hard during the event which makes it unfun for the survivors.

Yeah that was bad. Anyone who says it’s just survivors or just killers, it’s so annoying. People just love making others’ gaming experience miserable for some reason.

well said, we can’t control how others play. Can always move on to the next game and it might be better.

I love the randomness of the unlocks but I wish there was something that showed what has/hasn't been unlocked instead of going through multiple characters to check.
