Surprised nobody has mentioned my hot take regarding facecamping from a few weeks ago.I recall someone recently saying that the grind is fine.

Tru said Pinhead wasn’t very good EXCEPT when he used the pre-nerf Engineers Fang. Using the old version of the Fang he considered him really solid. After the Fang nerf he considers him total trash and the add-on to be worthless.
Mind you, I am not saying I agree with those statements, I’m just clarifying what his opinion is. Personally I think Pinhead isn’t top tier, but I also think Fang is still his best add-on even after losing a chain against injured survivors. Next time you hear someone say Fang is trash, ask them what add-on they’d run instead and enjoy the mental gymnastics floorshow as they try to explain how “its trash but they’d still use it but they won’t play Pinhead any more because he’s too weak so it doesn’t matter what his other add-ons are and Fang was the only reason he was good, but chains are worthless so losing a chain hurts him a ton even though they don’t do much, etc.”

Boons, Trickster, and BBQ.
All 3 of these are annoying to me and I wouldn’t be sad to see any of them leave the game

The aura reading is a bit meh and it's one of the few ways to improve the grind.

People complaining about Freddy after his release in 2017.
Reading those complaints makes you wanna remove your eyes with a rusty spoon.
It really makes you wonder if those "players" were actually playing Dead by Daylight.

A lot of his power came from the quick scoping though, and he wasn't a top tier killer prenerf. He really should have gotten something extra to help him out - he's really clunky to play now.

I am convinced you just don't know how to look over your shoulder. Or use LOS, or W the moment you hear the terror radius. Or crouch. Or juke. Or pre-drop pallets.

If youve read my posts then you can read my explanation for why deathslinger was unfair. I'm not explaining it again here because its exhausting having to repeat the same things over and over again. If BHVR didn't think it was a problem it wouldn't be nerfed. And whether or not you agree on their decisions; they're the ones who decide what happens.

I've always felt like people who primarily play survivor or exclusively play it have some weird idea BBQ is an OP perk because it's "meta" for killers. Some people don't get that's it meta not for it's pretty mediocre aura read, but because this game is absurdly grindy and it's the best way to alleviate some of that grind. If anything, the killer is using a so-so perk in terms of match use, in exchange for lessening the grind.

That Nurse's nerf was labeled as 'small' and 'mostly in numbers,' when they gutted her addons and increased her skill cap.
That god loops were nerfed, only to return shortly after with breakable walls.
That the Pyramid Head nerf would break him.
That adding collision to Spirit would break her (pre recent breaking nerf).
That Ruin was nerfed, in part, because of how 'overused' it was, while most survivor meta perks weren't given the same justification.
That Undying was nerfed because it was too much trouble for survivors to find five totems, only to add boons with infinite usage.
That we should trust the devs with SBMM, since they invested over a year of time into it, and it would come out better than old ranking system.

Do you mean the pryamid head nerf when they Nerfed cage camping? I remember seeing posts of that saying that he was a bad killer after that

I play on 2 different accounts, one with PH and one without. Even with way less perks on the other one, PH is insanely good. Who cares about cage camping? They're a last resort anyway

Breakable walls are so annoying. The only time I dont hate them is when I watch DBD Things and want to punch stuff as Nemesis

Nah, when they input a delay into his power, so you couldn't swap into an M1 instantly. Players thought it was the end of the world, but then it dropped, and nobody really cared.

Like I said it doesn't matter if you agree. Their word is law and we have to deal with it. Plus the Pinhead nerfs were very minor.

That the devs shouldn't work on fixing performance issues, players should spend money upgrading or buy different platform and start from scratch instead to play 5 year old game.
That there shouldn't be BP events like bloodhunts or anniversary cakes and devs should do BP log in rewards/codes - forget the exact reasoning behind this, think it was something along the lines of enjoying the grind.
Lithe is OP. Few other random perks like that people have said are OP but that one is one that really sticks out.

Any take that boils down to "using something working as intended and implemented is somehow "abusing" that thing" is a bad take and also a sign of a scrub mindset. At best misplacing of blame where you blame players for your grievances with the game itself, at worst just garden variety "You didn't win the right way, so I didn't actually lose :)" scrub BS.

I swear to God this triggers the hell out of me and it happens every single chapter. Survivor mains crying about the killer being overpowered and killer means crying that the killer is weaker than tier 1 Myers (jk) but you get my meaning lol

I asked once a survivor nicely why he dropped the god pallet (shack pallet) so early and wasted it therefore immidiatly.
He replied: "Lol there is no such thing as god pallet in the game you idiot, learn 2 play"

Is that just some weird form of pride? Like he can't accept there are loops that are fundamentally unfair and therefore he isn't some God at the game, so he just has to make some bullshit up instead?
