What's with the queue times lately?
The game has 50-60k concurrent players but the queue times are just abysmal. It takes 5-10 minutes to find a match as killer and survivor isn't much better. What kind of matchmaking does this game have? And even after all of that waiting time it still throws babies who just picked up the game into my matches while I have over 4k hours. I don't care about my mmr and stuff I just want to play, I want to hit a button and play a game, not sit in a lobby for 10 minutes just to demolish baby teams. I mean 50% of my matches are against babies, about 25% is against good players and the other quarter are just complete sweats with map offering and purple medkits. It's getting ridiculous. It's not fun when I have to wait 5 minutes minimum for a match and only 1 in 4 of those matches is fair and challenging and the other 3 are just boring. The addition of mmr based matchmaking has very negatively impacted queue times and the general quality of my matches.
Am I alone in this?

Not alone, but I'm on crossplay off. Since the event started I noticed queue times taking way longer for both sides.
It used to be instant for me on the survivor side during the day, and instant for killer at night.

Are you on console or PC? Because pc crossplay off is hell on earth.

Good for you my man. I just don't like versing 4 slowdowns nurses and blights. Sometimes when I'm playing with my friends we like to get out big boy pants on and go play on crossplay off just for the hell of it. Sometimes we manage to win, most of the time we are completely demolished lol

Only thing I dislike about crossplay off is the lack of variety in killers, You will mostly see Nurses and Blights, but that's a price I'm willing to pay if my team ends up being better as well.

Thats weird. Usually whatever side has longer queues, means that the other side doesn´t have enough players. You having long queues on both sides sounds weird. Maybe its the time of day you play.

This description of the waits is still true for me. I haven't had any changes since the event started.

My Killer queues have been really quick, 30 seconds at max while Survivor queues are taking 5 mins or longer
